I’ve had the surgery for gallbladder removal and am about one and half years post-op. I avoid trigger foods still, I’m not drinking alcohol or coffee, and I seem to be gaining weight nonetheless. Is the only thing I’m missing fitness at this point? Or does the surgery put your stress hormones/chemicals into wack etc (common cause for weight gain in some cases)?
Weight gain is likely due to over consuming calories. Even foods that people consider healthy can be over consumed. Measure what you are eating and the amounts. If this weight gain is sudden and without cause see a doctor.
