iOS tug tracking app out now

It's pretty basic at the moment but I think it's ready for people to try out: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/tugz/id1636551324

What it does:

Track sessions, both manual and device
Privately store your tug history

I'm working on addding Siri support so you can say "Hey Siri, start a tug" — hands-free use is especially important when you need your hands for tugging ;)

I'd love to see some people from this community try it out! Let me know if it's helpful or what else it would need to be genuinely useful.

Things I'm thinking of adding:

Private photo album so your progress pics aren't on your regular camera roll
Journaling/progress notation alongside the basic tugging record
Ability to have the reminder notification text be less obvious
Protect the whole app with FaceID

Ok, just some basic usability feedback:

the manual/device toggles are a bit confusing because when they’re off (I think) the background is light but when they’re on the background is black. This made me question a bit. I’m used to green/lighter background meaning on. Later in the menus you have blue meaning on.
if your device isn’t listed (I have a Foregestalt) it’d be nice to have a “other, enter name” option.
scrolling all the way to the bottom “DIY” is hard to click as it’s covered by the three dots bottom left
when I click “tug now” there’s no way to cancel that click if I misclicked.
when I click tug now it’s just for manual methods? How do I record wearing a device? Edit: ah, clicking tug now again now it asks me which device. I’m confused? Is there pattern here I’m supposed to tug at?
I’d like to be able to delete a history entry in case it was a mistake - don’t really want to log 5 second tugs ya know?

I downloaded it myself and your last point is the first issue I ran into. I started a tug and got distracted by a notification at work, so my timer went to 27 minutes and impacted my daily tug goal even though I wasn’t actively tugging longer than 3 minutes.

I was literally just thinking about an app solely for tracking restoration earlier and this pops up. Been on a hiatus for 5 months and I think this is a sign to start again!

iPad and macOS definitely on the radar. Unfortunately android requires a whole separate set of skill I don’t have, but if an android dev wants to take up that platform I’m happy to share!

Another problem I just ran into:

It had my next tug scheduled for 10:20AM. I never got a notification even though notifications are turned on. I ended up starting at 10:50AM and after I finished it still says my next tug is due at 10:20AM.

Similar bug I had this morning. My first tug was scheduled for 8:00am. I finished and now it says my next tug is at 12:00pm even though I have it set to tug every hour.

I just downloaded it. Can’t wait to start tracking. It would be really cool if there was a measurements tracker as well that could calculate you skin growth against duration of tugging. As well as see how you progress.

Just downloaded. I only use devices so I would like the tugging duration to be longer than 19 minutes. I usually wear my DTR for 8-10 hours with restroom breaks in between.

A "device" session shouldn't have a set length, you should be able to start, come back 10 hours later and stop… I think this design could be more clear— if only I were a designer! I'll see what I can do though. Thanks!

Been using the app for the past day and a half and thought I’d report some bugs because I really like this idea!

after finishing a tugging session the time doesn’t update until I force close and restart the app
in the history tab where I can see yesterdays tug times the total time (or what I assume is supposed to be the total time) does not add up correctly, it says 39 mins when it should be more than double that
when I change the tug duration it either doesn’t work and resets back to 3 mins after closing the app or doesn’t change the minute goal on the home page
it says my next tug is at 5:30 pm when it’s only noon and I have it set to every hour, not sure why

Hope these are helpful, thank you for making this app, it’s already been helpful with keeping track of my tugging even with the bugs, keep up the good work!

After using the app for a bit longer I’ve noticed a few other things,

the timer while the session is in progress will start back at zero after it passes an hour (when it’s ended the total time is recorded correctly)
this may be a personal preference but I’d love to see the history be organized from most recent at the top instead of bottom. And it would be nice to be able to know if it was a manual or device session

-this is a suggestion for the future but it would also be amazing to be able to see a weekly and monthly history where we could see totals and averages

Again thank you for all the work you’ve put into this already, it’s been a great motivator

A bit of an afterthought, but what about the ability to track retaining as well? I know retainers don’t really stretch but may be helpful to see how often you have a “bare” penis/ how often your gland are exposed during the restoration process
