So United emailed me today. My medical on my app expired since November. I have a current medical but I just forgot to update it in my application. Does this mean my app is getting pulled that I received this? Or does this mean that I blew my shot since they looked at my app and I blew it as I didn’t have their requirements when they checked?
“Fix it emails” are usually a good thing.
They wouldn’t care if it was expired if they didn’t have any interest. It’s not a for sure, but it is a good sign.
This is whats called a “fix it” email. This means somebody looked at your application. This means the computer algorithm pulled your app. This means you are moving along in the process.
To add on to this, this exact email from Delta was what preceded my interview invite.

From my experience from UAL recruiters (only on the aviate side) this just means they want you to fix it, no secret meaning and they’ll probably move on the the next part if you send an updated medical
This happened to me before I interviewed. Don’t worry about it. They’re just making sure you are up-to-date on your paperwork. Consider a good sign.
They wouldn't bother asking you to update your app if they weren't considering it. Go fix it ya dummy!

So I got this same email, but my medical WASNT EXPIRED! I checked it multiple times and it’s still good for 8 more months. Im not sure what that means. But I haven’t heard anything since. Anyone else have that problem?

Damn I'm jealous of everyone saying they got an interview shortly after they got this email. I got it 8 months ago, promptly corrected the date for my medical, and have been updating my app twice a month since. Not a peep from them. Lol that's life I suppose.
I got that email a month before getting an invite for an interview. They literally send that the day it “expires” even though you have till the end of the month lol.

Keep a Class 1 if you want to be part 121. Doesn't matter if you're not part 121 yet, always keep it.
Even the Aviate Academy requires you to maintain 1st class through your ratings, from student pilot through MEI.
