Does anyone else have to do ALL the quests in an area? I know it’s not necessary, but I find so much satisfaction from removing all the quest marks from my map 😅

I believe all if not most areas have a secret quest that unites and ties up the area story, they are nice, I did alot of them.

This is legitimately, the first time I've ever seen something like that being mentioned.
My bad, couldn't resist.
Now joking aside, most of the areas have mini quest lines that have little self contained stories. Most of them are easily recognized by the quest having a mini portrait in the menu, but a few of them don't have it for some reason.
They're worth doing imo, they flesh out the world and the stories themselves are pretty good considering they're so easily missable/skippable.
The one in Tailfeather gives you 1 of only 2 free Thavnairian Onions to level your Chocobo past 10, the only two onions that free trial players can get.
I was shocked when I first saw it, they are very clear in shadowbringers, I personally like the fairy quests and it's conclusion.
Just to fix an error people are saying here, im not talking about the quests with a different icon, im saying if you finish all side quests a new side quest will appear to tie up the area story, each area has a story to its own, you see for yourself, im not sure if it's in all areas but diffenetly in sea of something I forgot the area name and newer areas, I have yet to finish all side quests in ARR, its fun to do so on steam deck.
