We mistakenly thought the trash pick up would be tomorrow instead of today due to the holiday. Usually it'd be fine to skip a week but we also missed last week. I swear I had read on the website that they will allow some limited number of pickups per year if you missed your collection day. I can't seem to find it now. Anyone have experience with that or know if that is a thing?
You can leave extra bags on your drive way for $7.95 a bag on the next pickup. This has happened to us too a few times.

Yeah it is. The waste management drop off in tontitown is expensive too. $41 minimum. We decided a couple bags would be ok for just once.
Oh shit also though you get 3-4 a year free for about that. Look at your water bill and see how many “stickers” you have.
I actually live in Huntsville, so this doesn't affect me at all. Just saw your comment and was like holy hell that's crazy.
Here I could take my trash to the recycle center myself and save money. Find it worth it to pay the company that takes my trash though. My time is valuable too. No idea how they handle overages. I average about two bags a week
Boston mountain waste management is the cheapest place around to take trash to. It’s $20 for a truck bed of debris. Fayettevilles transfer station is $45 minimum, but worth it over the drive to tontitown or PG/Lincoln at times
