I just got fs22 and i’m having this bug with courseplay i go to generate a course and for some reason every time i create a course it freezes my game and there’s nothing i can do but close it and loose my progress but this only happens half the time is there anything i can do about it

it’s edge water feild 1 i haven’t tried it on other maps now that i think about jf
Edgewater is very hard on Courseplay due to the erratic field shapes. For better results you can straighten out the edges and divide larger fields at choke points. Courseplay will be much more responsive.
how do i do that like chop the feild in half
Paint a grass strip. For example, there's a ditch that runs N/S just above the starter farm. At the top the field narrows to a few meters. I cut it there. You can also use the landscape tools to smooth out the ditches. The map was designed to be able to do that.
