  Do not make posts unrelated to this topic. This includes screenshots of Facebook posts without a request for tech support.

2. **Do not post anything that contains personal information.**
  We do not allow posts or comments to contain any personal information, even if it’s your own. This includes names.  IF YOU POST IT AND SOMEONE HERE CAN FIND IT YOU WILL BE BANNED.  The only exception to this rule is if the information is related to a public figure.

3. **No self-promotion, spam, misinformation or clickbait.**
  We do not allow spam, misinformation or clickbait.

  This is also not the place to advertise your Facebook page, website, GoFundMe or anything else. We have this rule in place to help protect the community from spam and other malicious content.

  Including a link to a Facebook profile, page, group or post in a tech support context also violates this rule.

4. **Provide help publicly only.**
  Any help must be provided publicly. Do not offer to message someone to help them. This rule exists to help prevent scams.

5.  **No joke or meme posts.**
  There are other communities with millions of subscribers dedicated to memes and humor. There is no need for it to be here. If you want memes and humor on Reddit, check out r/funny or r/memes.

6. **No NSFW content.**
  This is a safe for work community. If you have a tech support problem that is related to NSFW (such as "why am I seeing NSFW ads on my feed"), you can describe the issue in text. Do not post a screenshot of the content.  STOP POSTING PORN!  PERMA BAN

7. **No hate speech, trolling or harassment.**
  Do not insult others, or post hateful content. This is a tech support and discussion community.

8. **Follow [reddiquette](https://reddit.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439-Reddiquette) and the reddit [Terms of Service](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/user-agreement-september-12-2021).**
  These rules must be followed in all subreddits, and this one is no exception.

9. **Adhere to post title guidelines.**
  Your post title should not look like it was written by a twelve-year old.  We have a character limit for a reason, and attempting to bypass this will result in a perma ban.  THERE IS NO NEED TO YELL, and your title should not be any form of clickbait whatsoever.
