An action cam that rivals some of the newest GoPro models priced at USD $169 is an awesome steal imo! It's going for cheaper brand new than people are selling used in my local marketplaces.
However, I can't help but be curious... exactly why is it priced so much lower than competitor products, and even DJI's own Osmo Action 2 (USD $289 for dual-screen combo)? Is there a major flaw about the Action 3 that I'm missing out on?

Great to know, as lightly-used GoPro7s are priced similarly as this brand new Action 3. This makes my decision a lot easier!
5 is coming out in oct i believe so the 4 will be the new 3 so it makes sense to get rid of old stock

Honestly, who knows. I had both gopro and dji. Love my Dji action 2. Now that know these are on sale I will be getting the 3
