Hello everyone!

I'm in the process of comparing wheelchair vans, and the ones recommended/available to me by my local mobility specialist dealer are from BraunAbility.

I have been recommended the 2023 (or 2024 once available) Toyota Sienna FWD with Braun XT Conversion, and the 2023 (or 2024 once available) Chrysler Pacifica with Braun XT or E2 Conversion. All have a Powered Folding Ramp.

I visited the showroom yesterday and got to go inside a 2023 Chrysler Grand Caravan with manual folding ramp that had a "commercial" conversion. Both front seats were installed so I could only get into the mid-row, but I did have spacious room to get in, turn around and get out without ducking my head down. I did find the ramp a tad bit steep, but it didn't have the kneeling function.

For reference, I use an Invacare Storm Series Rear Wheel Drive power wheelchair. I will be looking to get a van with front passenger seating and an automatic docking tie-down system with powered folding ramp so I can load/unload myself. I live in Saskatchewan Canada, and will mostly be highway/city driving, but gravel roads may be used periodically.

I'm specifically interested to hear opinions of which is more reliable and easier to maintain, between Toyota or Chrysler, which has better features, and what differences are between the user interface with the center console controls. Images to compare would help too. I have found some videos and images, but would love opinions on function for those with limited reach outside the perimeter of their wheelchairs.

I have specifications to compare between the Sienna and Pacifica both with XT conversions, but I haven't found really any details on the Pacifica E2/Entervan II conversion. What is the difference between the Pacifica XT and E2?

Thank you!
