Totally agree. They even went on a PR blitz talking about how it was a cheap way to travel and did not harp on the fact that it had a community-centered ethos. So people just looking for free boarding, technically homeless people, pickup-artists and all sorts of others started using CS for that purpose (not to mention the escort that asked to stay at my house once which I declined).
I think the point is how their business decisions have shot themselves in the foot and fractured the community.
