CTD with Oveready Flashlights

It started with PIN entry was all over the place it’s now not working at all. When i did get into programming mode it never set the white light levels to what i chose. It’s now an expensive brass shelf queen. No more trouble shooting to be done is a small mercy I have persisted with this for 1 week now. Think I’ll stick with the lights I have this BOSS has been trouble from the moment i turned it on. Picked up on used market.

UPDATE : Dan replied today. Oveready has my light and is working to repair it.

Six months ago I posted here regarding my TI Boss 35 body that had a clip screw head shear off. Dan from Oveready kindly offered via email for me to send the light in so they could take a look at it. I shipped it off the next day. That was six months ago.

I received confirmation from USPS that the package was delivered, but never received any confirmation from Dan or Oveready. I waited two months before reaching out, since I figured they were busy during the holidays, and asked if they had ever received the light, but I didn't get a response.

I waited another month and tried reaching out again, but still no response. Finally, I sent another email yesterday and am waiting to see if I'll get a reply.

There was no timeline placed on them repairing my light, or even if it could be repaired in the first place. I had no expectations for when it would even be looked at. I did, however want to know if they had the light in their possession. It just seems incredibly odd to not receive any response to my emails over the last six months.

Maybe I'm in the wrong, and I just need to wait longer. If anyone has any advice please let me know.

I was curious (Hoping really) if there was any interest in bringing this product back? I had one and unfortunately lost it at work one night. I've been scouring the web trying to find one ever since with no luck. TIA

Hey Oveready community, I was swapping clips on my Ti BOSS and one of the heads on the clip screws sheared clean off! I've swapped clips many times and don't believe I've ever put too much torque on the screws, but here we are. No idea what to do, would love some advice.

I live in France and was elated to finally manage buying a BOSS 35 on your website last Friday. However, until today I never got an email confirmation for my order. I tried to reach you several times through email and have yet to get a reply from you. I cannot even request a new password for my account.

Is there a problem with your website ? Almost one week and I’m still in total dark about my order.

Hey guys I am not part of the flashlight game but I noticed they are the only website who sells the greatest grease of all time NYE PG-44a. I placed an order yesterday but don’t have any email confirmation. Is that normal?

Have for the longest time (two years more or less) debating wether I should order a BOSS light or not. Stock has come and gone, different versions has come and gone. The one(s) I really wanted seemed to be no more.

Until today.

Just noticed that the BOSS Distressed 7075 RT 70 MOFF Body was actually in stock! Now, for this to be absolutely perfect, there should have been a 35 body available instead AND a head. But hey, I am half-way there!

There are few posts as boring to read as someone who just ordered something and they are excited by the anticipation. But man oh man, after two years of pondering this, and with a lot of frustration of out-of-stock items, I am cutting myself some slack.

I just ordered a Boss 70, but just received a CD ROM in the post instead. Has anyone else had Oveready delivery problems? I emailed them but no response yet, there’s no telephone to call on their website.

Have been eyeing Oveready TorchLAB Future BOSS for some time now from a distance. Have mentally prepared me for the cost, because I know this is a light (the 35 mm body) I eventually will have. However, now I see the design has fairly recently changed. I am happy to see the FT body is still available, but are the old style heads still a choice?

The newer heads with thinner elongated ”dents” are simply not as attractive as the old style to me. If I was to cough up the cash for such an expensive light, I would of course have to be 101% satisfied. I have some hope as there seem to be so many other options to customise the light, hopefully the old style heads are still there. Can’t see it on the website though (apart from most being out-of-stock most of the time, but this goes in rapid cycles).

Has anyone ever seen/used an actual oveready X300U? What is the throw and hotspot on it like? Why can I not find a single video of an oveready light demonstrated against a Modlite, Streamlight, Surefire?
