This week's concern: Employment
I've been a party to dozens of interviews, and some dumbass always has to ask this enormously stupid question... and right here? This is the best answer I've ever heard for this question, although I'd probably word it differently: "having a job and not being laid off".
When you post a comic and realize how it could have been better
Not even. This comic is great as it is.
I once said that and they didn't like it
Ruin your day by reading more comics r/theweeklyconcern
This comic actually made my day cus I been steady arguing with the bank and it’s good to be reminded that everybody I’ve ever talked to who represents the system is being exploited by it themselves
I think people hate on this too much: there are lots of good answers that are genuine.
E.g.
Once I have a bit more experience I want to get promoted to X role.
My partner is pregnant currently so after 6 months or so I would like to move to a more flexible role so I can do childcare.
I'd like to move to another country after a couple years: I heard you have another office in Y location?
I'm happy to stay in this role, as long as I can support myself doing so.
I don't have any long term plans currently as this will be a new experience for me, once I am established I will be able to say whether I want to stay with the company long term or seek opportunities elsewhere.
“Where do you see yourself in five years?”
“Hopefully not still working this shitty minimum wage job I’m applying for… no offence”
