Why We Can’t, or Won’t, Meet Our Own Climate Goals

Keyword: “meat”
Meat production contributes ~15% of global emissions so it's definitely a big factor but there's still another 85% to deal with. And a lot of that isn't just a case of substituting one thing for another.
Emissions are only part of the equation.
Animal agriculture uses 75% of useable farm land, an immense amount of water and causes most deforestation, polluting the environment, ground water, and removing a significant carbon sink.
Going plant based while continuing to shake your fist at big corporations and rich people is the only way to move forward if you give a crap about climate change.
Edit: also your numbers seem to be inaccurate.
