Hi,
I was trying to research quiet a bit around this topic, but there is little information about this for normal city bikes.
Problem: I carry heavy loads on my back pannier rack on my touring bike (28'') and am not light myself. So I constantly have spokes breaking. So I was looking for a wheel that can take up to 150kg.
What I found:
- Mostly very expensive custom built wheels for road cycles or mountain bikes
- Some ideas to buy double wall wheels
- Cargo bike wheels that do not fit on my bike
What I did not find:
- Understanding if the double walls will fix it or if i also need stronger spokes
- Any affordable option for a city bike
- Understand if simply buying a mountain bike wheel might fix the issue.

Thanks to anyone who can help with their knowledge or has tips,

Thanks

Martin
