2. Please update your user flairs to include at least information on your skin tone or skin type. This will help us help you better with your skincare or makeup questions.

##POSTING GUIDELINES##

* Include a complete product list (brand, item name, shade or number) for any makeup looks or FOTDs posted. It would be helpful to mention if something was ordered online or purchased locally. Prices not necessary but would be helpful!

* No heavy filters on photos, especially that change the color of the product. Try to adjust photos such that the color looks closest to like in real life. If possible mention the kind of lighting (daylight, fluorescent) because this can change how a product looks.

* Keep random non-beauty related topics to the assigned Weekly Threads to minimize clutter.

* All external links, such as to social media (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and other websites must contain a comment from you describing the link (why did you post it? What did you like about it?). Any affiliate or referral links must be fully disclosed.

* No linking to Facebook.

* Self-promotion and links to your content on external websites are not prohibited, but please do not spam the sub. You must be an active member before posting your promotional links. Self promotion and link to your content on external sites is not prohibited but please don’t spam. Keep it to twice a week maximum. A widely used rule of thumb is the 9:1 ratio, i.e. only 1 out of every 10 of your submissions should be your own promoted content. The rest should be comments that contribute to the discussion.

* Sellers can only post or advertise about their products in the Sell and Swap thread. Any comments outside that thread promoting your store or products that were posted under a user account that does not follow the 9:1 rule (see above) will be deleted.

* Don't offer unsolicited critique on FOTDs, however constructive, unless OP mentions CCW (constructive criticism welcome).
