I love 2021 Heritage as thats what the cards looked like when I first got some of my own.
I got 20 wax packs in 1972 for my birthday.
Heritage cards are awesome!
Orioles, Braves, Frank Thomas SPs, 90s inserts, vintage

Growing up I did too...
Then I fell out of it in high school. First the cards, then baseball in general went on the back burner in college behind the other three major sports. And most of my cards got donated in the process.
Many years later, I'm coming back. Cards came first, but that got me looking forward to this season in a way I haven't for a very long time. It helps that the O's have a great roster now after so long of terrible decisions, not even going to lie. But the two interests definitely fuel each other, I guess is the point.
Back in the day when I was into collecting, the Internet wasn't nearly what it is now. And certainly no Reddit. But having this community has made it way more fun than it would have been solo. And I don't have any big ticket items, but even "dollar bin" mail days are fun to open. Most recently I got into starting to trade, and feel silly for not doing it sooner.
Sorry for hijacking this post and rambling. This is in part a thank you to everyone who was cool and not an uppity gatekeeper as I had to relearn this world which changed so much after about 25 years. 🙏
I’m with you! ..well, right up until Heritage. But that’s only because Heritage is the only product that has produced absolute butkus for me, best hits were non-numbered purple parallels, not a single auto pulled, not a single # under /374, and it ain’t for lack of trying either... hobby boxes, hangers, blasters, fat packs, tried em all.
Good post
