Using Nandini right now. Any other alternate of any other good milk packets to use on a daily basis? Want to use toned milk.
How’s Nandhari and Amul ?

How’s Nandhari and Amul ?
I would have awarded this if I had one
Don't judge people based on what they eat.
You mean drink right?
This 😂
I am the cow who eats the packet and i can confirm
im the packet who got eaten and can confirm
I'm the cow dung that this cow poops and I can definitely say that I am indeed made of that packet.
I saw you as the cows poop and i can confirm 👍
Thank you for confirming bro, people confuse me with goat poop a lot and I have to show them my aadhar card
I saw you near KR market. May be your twin at Jayanagar and rest of the family at Johnson Market.
Wow I can trigger the city and a sect at the same time :P
Yeah same. Too much micro plastic.
That will be macro plastic
I used to feel weird for not eating the packet but after seeing this comment you feel like home. It's crazy to think about how unique we are. Real homie vibes!
I laughed so hard on this. Damn you
Nandhini Blue on normal days and the Orange one when we feeling fancy
Precise macha.
Orange to make sweets
Wait what's the difference between Blue and orange..? The green one is buffalo milk right..?
Blue has minimum 3% fat at packaging time(toned). Orange has 6%(full cream). The fat content increases with time I guess.
There's are rare nandini pink with 9% fat
This is used only for making sweets. Even the milk parlour owner says it’s too much fat in this pink one to make the usual tea.
I'm a malai lover (yes, we exist). Nandini 9% gives thw best thick malai
Is malai the top layer (paaladai in tamil, idk what it's called in English) in milk when heated?
Yes
Cream. It's just called cream.
It's just called fresh cream in English
Exactly! We too use Nandini Samridhi milk: we boil it, make butter from the cream, and drink the milk. Tea made with this milk is super tasty! My dad worked at Verka Milkfed (Punjab) for 50 years, so he knows stuff about milk. We just had a conversation about Nandini milk a few days back, and he was happy and a little surprised to know that milk with such high fat and SNF is being sold at this price. So, price-wise also, it's perfect!
i agrreee malai is >3
And I thought I'm the only Malai lover adult in my generation. All my peers puke when I tell them that I eat malai
+1
Orange has more fat or something compared to blue.
Have you ever tried nandini pink? That's the fanciest of them all (full cream)
🤦♂️
Then you haven't tried yellow.
Her child might be starving now
🤣
Akshayakalpa
Their curd is very good.
Absolutely 💯 💯
Best milk among all the available brands I would say
But is it worth paying extra 2X the price compared to brands like Nandini and Amul?
+1
Namma Nandini orange pack
Akahayakalpa milk! It's the best. Getting much more cream/malai compared to nandini.
And they have happy cows
Really? That reason can make me pay more compared to nandini
They claim that they have happy cows. It’s one more business we never know what’s the truth. Btw we also buy from akshayakalpa. We used to buy phalamrutha before but current area is not serviceable
It’s one more business we never know what’s the truth.
You do a farm visit in Bangalore or their other locations to know the truth.
I did a farm stay bro, it’s all business at the end. They show all happy things, but truth is they source milk from other farmers. The quantity of milk they supply is huge in Bangalore and other cities, they can’t control quality in big scale for sure
They claim this, not sure. I buy curd from them. It's creamy. It feels like icecream.
I found their curds to be the best. Nandini curds is crap. Heritage and other brands are even worse.
Nandini goodlife is pretty good
Once I got only water in in goodlife, stopped using it since then
Moved to Bengaluru awhile back. This has become standard. Very good by itself too
Goodlife because it doesn't spoil and it doesn't taste like cardboard
Nandhini Orange Packet
Local milkman 🤘
You're drinking white coloured water then /s
Yeah same, there’s this guy who provides A2 milk and has cows in a nearby town. Costs about 80 for 1L
I prefer the Goodlife packet bro. Aluminium foil gives Shakti to body, plastic is bad. Milk I pour away though.
I just use blue one. I don’t get fooled by all the organic words which some milk vendors advertise. Fuck organic and drink the cheap nandini. Nothing is organic.
Nandini, mix of orange and blue 1:1
What’s the difference
We just like it that way😂
Nice! We also do the same Nandini/heritage orange + nandini blue.
Yellowish green
This is what I prefer as well as mainly the consumption is for tea and coffee.
Days when it feels like having milk with cereals, it is just orange milk
What's wrong with Nandini?
You should ask her out
Heritage red packet, full cream. Best and delicious!
Read this while sipping it, Tastiest milk out there
Nandhini orange. Gives a good amount of Malai for making ghee at home as well.
Nandini blue for most things. Orange for morning filter coffee
Filter coffee tastes better with orange? And which coffee powder do you use?
Suma coffee - special blend.
If you are in Bangalore try filter coffee powder from Sri ram coffee works in Malleswaram. One of the best
Gayatri coffee pudi
Try Panduranga coffee. It is very good and has a legacy. It is delivered directly from Chickmangalur. ( https://www.pandurangacoffee.com/ )
Will try this out too...
Try heritage.
Heritage
I use Nandini Special toned milk. It’s good.
Orange heritage
nandini samrudhi.. one of the best milk available
Amul lactose free
What's the point of drinking milk which has no lactose in it?
The vitamins, mineral and protein level remain same only the lactose is removed so it is easy to digest. I am lactose intolerant that’s the reason.
It's there any specific test to find out if you are lactose intolerant? My mom was facing some issues so we did Allergy profile test and found out all the milk products are bad for her but she is 60+ and now doctor asked her to avoid all milk products which is kinda difficult. So just like this milk what all alternative items you use?
Heritage special (long life one)
Oi! Nandini blue all the way. Orange on the days you need that extra ish
Akshayakalpa. For now, don’t yet see a big difference from Nandini blue.
Month beginning Nandini Orange and then month end Nandini Blue 😂
Country delight
We tried that… One of the worst business models. The pricing model is the worst.
Can not agree more. Country delight is shit. Akshyakalpa is way better with good service
Seconded! What I like the most is they send an update in case delivery is delayed. I haven’t had to use the customer care a lot of times, but the 3 times I did over an entire year, got satisfactory resolution in a few minutes.
Oh no. Why do you say that :( have been using CD - no complaints on quality so far. And really happy with the curd I can make with their milk.
Heard a lot about Akshaykalpa but it's not available where I live.
The pricing model feels like a dark pattern. Why should a simple milk delivery app have a VIP Subscription, and have different prices for VIP and non VIP? The VIP Subscription even comes with a limit on the discount that you can get. All this feels like an attempt to reduce transparency in the final price that you will be paying.
Me too, really happy with their service. Curd is pretty good too
Nandini
Akshaykalpa
Nandini slim ftw
Nandini, or milky mist
I prefer Amul.
We use buffalo milk and could not find any way to get it where we live. There is one provider, but he already has “waiting for months” and one has to personally go there every day at 6am or early.
So due to dearth of options Country Delight is the only one that provides buffalo milk.
Sids farm is the best for buffallo milk. Its a hyd based brand, where buffallo milk is the most common
Heritage Full cream for Tea and Akshayapalaya Cows Milk for drinking directly
Akshaykalpa ( a bit expensive but worth it)
Nothing better than Nandini. No pomp and show. Most importantly no additions
I can't drink thr regular milk, for some reason I'm intolerant to certain milk. I use the A2 milk from Sids farm, you can buy it on Swiggy. It's really good, you'll get really thick cream also.
Nandini, the green packet or sometimes the amul toned one
Nandani Purple is the best
NandAni? And that too purple?
I prefer not to consume the packet. Will let you know if I find something edible though
Nandini Double Toned (Yellow packet).
Nandini blue for tea, coffee, plain milk to drink. Orange Nandini for some delicacies, or to speed up the process of making mane thuppa. And Nandini good life tetra pack for corn flakes and for storage when blue and orange go extinct.
Nandini green pack
Nandhini orange
Nandini Orange, the OG milk of Karnataka
Nandhini Orange, always.
Nandini orange packet and heritage toned milk for curd formation.
Nadhini special
Nandini orange packet
Nandini orange packet is the best. Using from 15 years
Amul
Nandini Good Life, Life's good with that milk I would say.
Nandini A2 if available. Else blue.
Where do you get it?
The local Nandini stall.
Doodla guys crying in corner
Nandhini Green. It's not as watery as the Blue and not as creamy as the Orange. Perfect for making chais. If you haven't come across it or tried it, do try. I think it's the best.
Always Nandini
Akshayakalpa, or Sid’s farm if it’s not available.
Once you try these, there’s absolutely no going back to Nandini (blue/orange/good life) or any other brand. The difference in terms of quality is massive. Country delight is somewhat close but their pricing model is the worst, hence not worth it.
Nandini >>>>
Akshayakalpa orange here
Only used to consume the milk and not the packet, feels I have been missing out big time ://
Akshayakalpa
Akashakalpa is the original A2 milk. Others are A1 milk. Not really useful. It's taken from hybrid cows who give more milk but not as nutritious. Checkout fituber video on this.
Akshayakalpa green coloured packet
Akshaykalpa
More fat milk has better it is for the body. Less fat milk offers nothing to the body because it’s stripped of its essence. Yes. That’s the real truth. So do not consume non fat milk. Ask for non non fat milk.🥛 ALWAYS!
Nandini blue and green.
We also tried akshayakalpa. It was very good but very expensive.
Amul tetrapack
Well.. My gym trainer had particularly advised to have A2 graded milk and said that regular(ordinary) milk is not worth it. It's often said that they don't even produce enough milk to meet the demand of the large population. What we get is mostly artificial.
Bhagwaan bharose I used to get milk from a reputed local brand Sucow. Now..? No milk
A2 milk is a scam. There is no scientific basis on the claims. Plus they are twice expensive.
Yes. Btw Sucow isn't A2 certified.
What is A2 certified? Who gives these certifications?
I understand what you mean. A2 product is supposedly obtained from desi cows which haven't undergone genetic modification.
https://dairynews7x7.com/fssai-clarifies-the-a1-a2-milk-and-organic-foods-concepts-under-its-faq/
Honestly, can't even trust the official statements. Capitalism has its own drawbacks.
After having Aavin/nandini for years, now that milk gives me stomach and gut issues. Shifted to Akshayakalpa A2 milk and amul lactose-free, and I'm completely fine. Would recommend avoiding govt run milk cooperatives due to what i think is too much mixing of milk/adulteration.
Wait, I thought govt run milk has the least adulteration.
Same issue here and amul lactose - free did wonders for me.
Amul - just coz it's the cheapest and best.
tabela milk
Akshaya Kalpa is a good one. You should give it a try.
Altco Oat Milk
I'm open to suggestions for cheaper oat milk
Fresho organic or Akshayakalpa for the kid.
Good life for tea & coffee.
Mai to nandini ka hi dood peeta hu
That sounds odd, omg.
Hatsun 😎
Amul moti seems to be fine
Nandini orange. And purple whenever I plan to makensome desserts.
Does anyone use cartons ? If yes, which brand and how long is it good for in the fridge once opened ?
Toned. I can make my fat myself.
Nandini Special Milk
Amul taza is best for tea and general use
nandini special
Nandini orange packet, heritage green packet is also very good
Whatever is given in my office
why so much hate for amul?
Nandini blue when I want to have chips with the remaining money
Nandini orange when I am rich
Nandini Blue packet is best packaged milk in India.
Nandini Special toned for Tea
Nandini blue packet any day
Nandini’s Green
Heritage Green. The orange one has a tendency of giving me a heartburn.
AKSHAYKALPA ORGANIC MILK
Amul moti
we use a2 milk
Thirumala
CountryDelight cow milk
Do you get local white butter in diaries? I've never asked or tried.
On swiggy instamart you can get white butter by punjab diary or something
Akshaykalpa/ namdhari
Cow give milk to its calf not to adult human... Lol...
Heritage Green, all the time, every time.
Only soy milk or almond milk
Alshayakalpa
Akshyakalpa
Me personally I just consume the milk , and throw away the milk packet
