Not seen a perkeo in my last 100 ish hours
145 hours, I think maybe 3/23 legendary cards were a Perkeo. Yorik, and Camio most common.
I feel like legendaries should be at least twice as common as they are now. The odds are a tad ridiculous. I get they're legendaries but playing dozens of hours without seeing one is a little unnecessary
I think it's a tough balance for LocalThunk. He'd need a whole bunch of data of how many have popped up for people vs hours played, showing if soul card odds are actually being reflected. But I agree, I'd like to see them pop up a bit more often
I agree, I just won my first gold stake, unlocked all decks and jokers and I'm still missing my last legendary and I pick up almost every arkana pack I find.
The odds are way too inconsistent, they're mostly balanced.To be fair, though, I unlocked all 5 within the first 7-8 hours. I'd rather have safety measures (ie every x number of won runs the next one will have a legendary).
They added one last patch! But it's a bit tough. Anytime you get The Soul on Gold Stake difficulty, it's guaranteed to be a Legendary joker you haven't seen before if you're still missing them.
Correction, it is specifically going to give you the ones that you don't have a gold sticker on, ie ones you haven't beaten a gold stake run on, it has nothing to do with seeing them.

I think it's probably referring to that you can only accept the Soul Card if you have an empty joker slot.

Fuck canio. Been playing since day 1 and still have not unlocked that asshole. It’s all I have left to unlock to get completionist.
If you play on gold stakes, the new patch will force souls of legendary jokers you haven't won on gold with. (For Completionist++ but useful to you)
On Xbox so the patch isn’t live yet, but I look forward to being able to do that.

Unfortunately don't have it. I was kinda salty at the moment just blowing through run after run, after 4 days of trying to beat blue stake, and still failing to do so on this run.

Can someone explain, what possible synergy this could have?
I know Perkeo creates a negative consumable when it leaves the shop, but I don't know what it means to HAVE a negative consumable - does that give you an extra consumable spot or an extra Joker spot? as negative seems to ONLY give a extra joker spot, according to the game. so.. buying a consumable from the shop will give you one more joker slot? so you can have 2 extra joker slots? (assuming you sell the perkeo after the second buy, and then never use the consumables?
And even so, what does Wraith have to do with it? Just something to put into that extra slot?
It has nothing to do with joker slots. Negative means a free slot so you can have infinite consumables. This would let you create a rare joker every round (until you run out of slots of course).
I see now... sorry, it's not when the CONSUMABLE leaves the shop... it's when the PLAYER leaves the shop. Poor wording.
A negative consumable card gives you a consumable spot. It creates free copies of a planet, spectral or arcana card you have in your lil consumables shelf, and it's negative so it doesn't take up a spot.
So in the screenshot op stood to create a new wraith card that does not take up a slot every blind.
But the Wraith is not in the shop, so how can anything get created?
Perkeo dupes a consumable you own and gives it negative. The negative applies to the duped consumable.
Yea... here's the issue I had. I was looking at the Balatro wiki and it said:
Perkeo is one of the five legendary Jokers. Perkeo spawns a negative copy of one consumable in the player's possession after leaving a shop.
The confusing part is that the wraith is not in the shop, so it can't leave the shop... Upon some further digging, I find it's when the PLAYER leaves the shop. The wiki is jus poorly worded.
I think it's worded fine. Cards don't "leave" the shop. Either you purchase them, or you don't. After you've made your purchases, you leave the shop when you go to the next round. Have you ever bought something at a real life store and described the event as "The Pringles left the shop."?
Wraith apprars in the shop when playing with the Ghost Deck.
i know im 3 days late because reddit suggests posts from the grave but the synergy that sticks out the most is perkeo + observatory (voucher) + blue seal for constantly adding in your last played planet card at the end of a round, and giving a 1.5x mult boost for each one.
That's odd, despite me playing Ghost deck a lot, whenever I pick up a Wraith in the Shop, it will never let me use it, but idk why.

I finally got an unseeded perkeo run last night and got to Naneinf on ante 15 with a perkeo, baron, mime, blueprint, and 3 brainstorms after copying a bunch of cryptids. Unfortunately that run is now bricked since it would crash anytime I tried playing a hand afterwards (I was using the unofficial android port), but I definitely would have reached my highest ante record if it wasn't for that.
