This happened to me with a car battery. +Post and chassis. Not to this extent though; couple blisters.
Must have been industrial machinery right? A normal car battery shouldn't have the voltage to jump through you.
The voltage isn't jumping through you at that point, it's just shorting through the chain. The chain then sparks and gets really hot, which will burn your skin
Can it happen with earrings and other face piercing? Cuz if so then new fear unlocked haha
Technically yes but it would be really hard to do. The piercing would have to touch not only the positive terminal, but also something else metal on the car at the same time. Just touching the positive terminal alone shouldn't do anything
It's easier with something like a necklace that dangles
Ohhh, i completely misunderstood what happened. I thought it happened without the necklace/watch/etc, touching the car or anything. But In my defense im baked
