## What is AskTO?

A subreddit for people to submit questions to Torontonians and about Toronto and receive constructive responses.  

## Rules Summary

1. **Toronto or GTA related questions or discussion prompts only:** This is the core tenet of this sub. Do not post rhetorical questions, lectures or rants. 

2. **Be excellent to each other:** No racism, sexism, homophobia, religious intolerance, dehumanizing speech, or other negative generalizations.  No concern-trolling, personal attacks, or misinformation.


3. **Submissions must be community benefiting:** No asking for gifts, donations, soliciting, or classifieds. No memes. Moderators may remove content at their own discretion. Lost or found items should go to r/LostAndFoundTO. Rants should go to r/toRANTo News articles should to go /r/Toronto

4. **All of Reddit's platform-wide rules apply:** Please follow reddit's content policy, self-promotion guidelines, and Reddiquette. Ban evasion is not allowed. Additionally, we do not allow petitions, fundraising, vote-begging, surveys, or referral codes.
