Who/How many will be unfucked enough to join the IFL/NAL/Other less shitshow league? My guess is Albany, Orlando, Oregon, Salinas, maybe Minn.
AFL started with too many teams. Hopefully the teams left can maybe form a smaller AFL and try again with a new commissioner.
Problem is going to be the players. A guy who is an agent for the (former) soul QB said many AFL players left the IFL without permission and so will likely not be allowed back now. They are going to be screwed if something doesn’t improve.
If they had a current contract with an IFL team, and left for another league that is not the NFL, CFL, or UFL, then they are suspended from playing in the IFL for one year.
If they didn't have an existing IFL team contract before playing in the AFL, then the IFL has no issue with them playing in the IFL tomorrow.
I wouldn’t count out Nash.
Nashville, Orlando, Albany, Billings and maybe Washington I'm pretty sure about
Rapid City and the Kansas teams are in the maybe pile for me
Oregon, Georgia and Louisiana probably not
West Texas probably depends on what happens in court with them
The Jury is out on Minnesota for me (Kinda wanna wait to see how their home setup is)

Billings is going strong too. They’ve had it together going into year three of operation. Don’t count them out.
Ifl is a really good league which is expanding they need to add eastern teams. Also I wish they would get the NFL network TV deal

I'm glad you included Oregon in there. As I lived in Salem for 20 years and now live in Portland that's my team and I desperately want them to continue on, Salem needs something like this, it's horribly boring there most of the year. I hope the league continues but if it can't, take the survivor teams and start a new league.
The sport will always be in disarray until all the leagues come together as one. You can’t have 5 different leagues and expect a good product. Not to mention the price to get in is just cheap enough for the scummy people who are just rich enough can swoop in and own a sports team just to realize it’s a money pit. If all the leagues join together and put in better policies and regulations this sport could survive. But as of now it’s too spread out and run by people who don’t know what they’re doing and/or don’t care
I think the teams that aren’t completely in disarray will form their own league/ take over the AFL
