I (F25) went to this new place called Belgrado and literally 10 minutes after arrived was really overwhelmed by how this man just came and put his hand around my shoulders. I proceeded to just step away and then he starts asking for my name and I just said “oh no sorry” Then he starts saying I’m rude, I should stop playing hard to get and I should stop being a bitch Like make it make sense you come and just physically touch me then you call me names He also said “ I don’t miss European women , you’re from the UK right ?” I was so upset man! I left and went to this Chinese restaurant that was close by while I waited for my friend for about an hour.

So I was by chicken Inn drive through at 11pm and then I was asked to park in the car park with other customers to wait for my order to be made. Some guy in a truck then reversed into me as he was leaving. As I was still in shock all I remember is exchanging contact information with the guy as we had no way of getting police to come through. He said he is willing to meet up in the morning at the police station and pay the guilt of admission and so I can get the accident report for insurance to fix my car.

Now I'm out of shock I feel like I just screwed myself. Can I get a police report like that? I didn't even take pictures of the cars, just of mine when he drove away. I have full cover on my car. Will that even help if this guy ghosts me?

Hey all, born and raised in Zim but immigrated a few years ago. Would really love to have some Zim/Harare art in my home to remember my country. Like an art print/picture that captures the feel/spirit of Zim, ideally from someone local. I really love mundane/slice of life stuff. So I was born in Zim. Moved to Botswana in about 97, 98, right before stuff in zim started to get bad . Growing up in bots was ok, but it could never be as amazing as Zim was back in the day . I’m in the USA now and have kids. A majority of my family are moving to UK for jobs and better quality of life. I’m realizing that when I do take my kids home we may no longer have any family in the place of our ancestors . Ill have no one to show me where my mother is buried . I’m so filled with rage and sadness and dont know how to explain my grief properly. I hate that my family has to go to the land of our colonizers to have a better life. Working in nursing homes instead of as the artists and business folk they once were. I’m currently reading “ a history of Zimbabwe” just to understand just how we got here coz I was a child when it was all going down. I’m just so sad and angry and how splintered we are. How do y’all cope with how futile it sometimes feels . I really hoped with Mugabe gone that there would be some improvement. It seems no different . How do we change ? What is needed ?

Met a man in Zimbabwe, seems highly accomplished and very loving person.

A few days into the relationship he said, if only you could help me with a loan so I finish my house. I totally ignored his request. Then recently he borrowed $1000 for a project which I turned down as well. We have only been dating for 4 months. Yes his situation is a bit desperate as he lost his job but he has a house and a car. He is always asking for favours like, only if I had a laptop or recently asking friends to buy him tickets and he would reimburse.

This person is so loving and sweet but the whole idea of asking for money and having this beggar/scarcity mentality is off putting. Is this normal with Zimbabwean men? Is this a culture I should expect?

Hello guys, I’m looking for someone or even a small family to live in my place in ntabazinduna. There isn’t many chores to do, maybe gardening and cleaning up after yourself. It’s mainly for security reasons so they will be required to sleep at the place. I have chickens and crops it would be a great advantage if they are knowledgeable in those fields. Emakhaya/Kumusha person would be lovely.

My totem is Moyo Chirandu. I am sorry but someone can have a totem of a Nzou or Shumba but all I get is moyo(Heart) 😭. I really don't believe in totems like this but I wish I could switch
