All I know to make with these is shawls but I want shawls this pretty 🤩🤩
Treated myself to yarn from overseas for my birthday and I’m very excited
StashThat was not me 😬 i am not in any
Interesting
I joined one to try and find it but no luck 🤷🏼♀️ must not be the same one. Weird!
These are beautiful! 😍 I'm making a second baby blanket out of this type cake yarn. I've a couple of mosaic blanket patterns in mind. About halfway through a summer top. Hope you'll post your finished makes.
The gradient on the grey one is 😍😍
happy birthday!! the gray yarn would look so pretty as a shawl- they all would, but that one would be like wearing a cloud
i love love love that they did that with the sticker
Yay❤️🔥❤️🔥 Happy birthday hope you'll post some updates on ur new projects
The rainbow and green one. Are they yarnart flowers? Im working on lotus mandala blanket from hooked by robin with the rainbow one 😁
Yes! The green is flowers the rainbow is yarnart rosegarden
I always love these yarns so freakin much. Then I go to work with them, and my hands cramp up in about 3 seconds ☠️ they're so soft and so beautiful, but the minuscule weight of them and the minuscule hooks they call for are brutal on my carpal tunnel? Arthritis? My swimmers foot-y hands 😂
Hobbii makes a DK weight Wheel of Alpaca that is SO much easier on my arthritic hands than their cotton fourply sport weight. It's SO much more pleasurable to work with, and it's got the same color gradients.
My hands hurt when I pick up my knitting 🧶. I power through, and 10 minutes later my fingers don’t hurt any more. I absolutely love those yarns. I hope you knit something beautiful!
Mesmerizingly pretty
I😍the green
It’s lovely, I agree. Reminds me of half a cabbage 🥬.
That looks just like a lettuce.
Love it I really like the green 1 and blue 1
The grey one is like a small cloud, I would like to hold it
Right 😍 its gorgeous! A little halo, blend of acrylic and wool.
Definitely thought this was cabbage on my meal prep and got way too excited.
Que colores tan bonitos😍
I just finished a baby blanket with YarnArt Flowers, and it's a delight to work with! So happy you got these.
This looks so much like the colours I used for a king sized blanket I knitted about 8 years ago, it's unreal! This is lovely!
I want to make a bigger version now too! What yarn did you use?
Oh, this was just a high quality synthetic. Used 9 different colours starting with that deep burgundy red and worked outward into a rainbow holding 2 stands together and swapping one for the next colour to transition them. Edged in black. It is now owned by one of our cats and lives on the sofa. Silly thing is more than 100k sts and it's the cat's now haha
Ok I MUST know what pattern you used? Please? Not meaning to hijack the thread but this blanket is exactly what I need.
It's Blooming Joy by Vcrochetpatterns! Got it on Etsy. Not even fully finished, I ran out of time and had to get creative
I love variegated yarns
Pretty. Thanks for sharing and happy birthday
They look so soft and squishable!
Ohh they’re so pretty!
I have 13 of the rainbow ones myself. It works up beautifully. Happy for you with your shawl cakes! I hope the finished objects bring you joy!!
Ooooh! Food for the eyes
Happy birthday!! Yarn is the only cake that I can eat up without the calories 🤤
Yarns:
YarnArt Rosegarden in colour 319 (green)
YarnArt Flowers in colour 277 (rainbow)
Alize Angora Gold Batik in colour 7363 (blue)
Lilly by Sylwia Kubuj is a pattern designed for a yarnart cake and I've made it twice now. It's easily one of my favorites for a single yarnart cake.
Ooooo thank you!!
Happy birthday! You picked well. YarnArt flowers is one of my favorites. I'm glad to know of these others!
