I watched this yesterday and it's still as funny as when I watched it in the theater at 12 years old, maybe even more so since I understand more jokes as an adult.
A friend of mine had an on/off relationship. I dubbed the guy Blinkin. Because of the tree scene. "I can see!" crashed into tree
Dude has ran face first into a tree more tumes than we can count in that relationship. I don't understand why she keeps going back, she already said the sex is poor.
Antony... it took me a very long time to realize his name *wasn't* Anthony. But yeah, definitely thought of Robin Hood Men in Tights when I first heard of him.
Me too, 100%, every time. It's literally A. Blinkin, and it's abbreviated that way in stories sometimes. I cannot hear it or see it without thinking "did you say Abe Lincoln?"
The interesting this about this movie with Chappell is one of the reasons Chappell left Hollywood was because they wanted him to dress like a women in the movie Blue Streak with Martin Lawrence. But he refused to and said he would never wear a dress or dress like a women. But he had already done it in this movie when they all dress in woman’s clothes to sneak into the Archery contest. Always found this interesting.
I think about this movie far more often than I probably should. We have great strength of feet! And also I loved “so your family changed the name TO latrine?”
I made my kids watch the Kevin Costner Robin Hood specifically so they could watch this version and understand all the jokes. They all agreed it was worth it
Unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent.
