# What is r/WorkReform?

**Our Political Objectives**

 - **Mandatory prison time for union busting & other labor law violations, including wage theft**
 - Raise the national minimum wage to at least $25 per hour
 - Enact universal family and medical leave, AKA [Medicare For All](https://berniesanders.com/issues/medicare-for-all/)
 - Improve and *actually enforce* anti-trust laws
 - Pass tuition-free college & trade schools
 - Pass the [PRO Act](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protecting_the_Right_to_Organize_Act)

**Our Philosophies**

 - **All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.**
 - Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
 - Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
 - We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.

 - Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
 - Better and fewer working hours.
 - Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
 - Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.
