Why does my C.C. game feel so bland yet Lepanto still excites?

Mines just under 76% WR 78k average 5.5DR and 30% MVP.

This is also after both nerfs, as CC was stupidly OP and still has its physiological warfare aspects to DDs and does it’s job very well still. You need to remember CCs weakness is other BBs and if you feel like you’re getting mullard, that’s due to her poor armour. All IT BBs are quite easy to farm damage from and CC is huge.

IT ships in general have a bit of an arc, but they also have high accuracy and velocity. So if you’re having trouble you need to remember to aim parallel to the target and compensate for the slight arc.

Concealment is key to success in these ships, just like the many other lines that heavily rely on it. So take your time and look for priority targets while concealed allowing you to potentially seriously damage / nuke a DD from the start. CC is also highly effective against cruisers as well.

Next don’t be one of those players that spams SAP constantly. AP is your go to against BBs and cruisers, but SAP is more effective in certain situations against CLs - ie Smolensk, Colbert, Mino etc. Although AP will do the same job, SAP has no overpen.

Utilise Smoke and Scout plane wisely. If you feel like you’ll get the drop on unsuspecting players while concealed, smoke bolsters it further. Scout plane is excellent for targets behind cover, those that are harder to hit and obviously targets too far away.
