Fingers crossed
VA Disability ClaimsManifesting works for sure!!! I got 100% T&P claim started Nov 24, decision April 29
How long did it take you to see a doctor? And how longer were you in the Preparation for Decision phase? I’ve been in that phase for two months now
Took me 6 years
P took my husband almost 20 years and there's still a mistake needing correction
Good luck
🤣🤣🤣
🤣
Good luck brother. I’m hoping I get some movement soon lol. Iv been sitting since March 15th and I started process December 4th.
Mine started November 30th. Just got my decision, and first month of pay.
Oh that seriously makes me happy for you. I know where I’m at rn financially so that makes me happy to see someone is getting theirs. I wouldn’t want anyone to be in my spot rn.
Good luck. If you're expecting any kind of increase. Maybe take a gander at your payment history on ebenefits or looking at your rating scheme might show a change.
Good luck..how do I get the app to show me the timeline, thx.
This is a google chrome extension. It was super easy to enable. Just google VA Claim Tracker extension and watch the video, download enable and once you co to your claim on va.gov click the little puzzle piece icon next to the URL and you should see the extension in your drop down list.
Thx I have the extension but it doesn't show the timeline like I see on this attachment.
Mine either. It used to look like this, but it changed a few days ago.
I was thinking I was doing something wrong
Good luck ! I just went PFN from Waco last night as well
Good luck! Went PDA yesterday from Indianapolis.🤞🏼🤞🏼
How long did it take you to get to PDA? I’ve been sitting in PFD for about two months now
Congrats in advance. I'm waiting on a rater to be assigned
Gl bro
Good luck!
How long did it take you to get out of the PFD phase and how long did it take to see a doctor? I started a claim Feb -13 saw a doctor a week later and I’ve been stuck on PFD for about weeks now. I just want to hear that I got an increase to 100%
Two or three days after I went to completed claim
I saw a doctor about two weeks after I initiated my claim. I was in evidence gathering for about 4 months then went to pfd
I hit PFN today. Not much faith in it but really just want to at least get 50% so my retirement goes unbothered. Probably get 10-20% on this initial claim I think.
If you get more than one headache a month, it’s an automatic 50% claim. Just to help out a little more if you don’t get what you want with this one.
I get migraines more than once a month, documented on a C&P and everything, but I only got 30% for that. Whaaaaaaat. Do I need to look into this claim again?
Yes! Same thing happened to me. Read your decision letter. It will say something like “on average once a month”. I did a supplemental and made sure to tell them it’s 2-3 times a week. Read how they rate it: https://veteransguide.org/va-disability/ratings/migraines/#:~:text=The%20maximum%20a%20veteran%20can,as%20migraines%20start%20generally%20debilitating
Hey thanks! That’s a really helpful resource.
I’d say I am in between the frequencies of them occurring.. definitely not very frequent for the 50% like your 2-3 times a week. That would be absolutely life altering and debilitating. I am so sorry to hear that you’re dealing with that!
I handed over my migraine log and I only logged the ones that took me out that day for more than an hour or two, not light headaches that I can power through (weekly during allergy season). Hmm. I might be fairly rated, all things considered. I’ll keep a closer log for the next 6 months and see what it turns up. Thanks again!
Editing to add: I’ll take a closer look at my letter. I only half paid attention to that section as I was focusing on my deferred claim info. lol.
Yeah and it could change too. I didn’t get them often at first either & powered through (Marines tell you pain is weakness blah blah). But later in life, I started to get them more.
Could definitely help to at least look over the decision letter though. Claims are all about wording. At worst, can do a supplemental, write a short lay statement pointing out how their wording is wrong, and then wait for another c&p. That’s what I did. But good luck to you.
Yea right now I'm having issues with pulsar tinnitus leading into them but that diagnosis is still in the works. I claimed it but I know for sure there's not enough to justify it so I'll come back around when the time is right. I have claimed bilateral knees and hips for arthritis and a few other things. I'm just keeping my hopes down so I'm not let down by it.
Well tinnitus is pretty much guaranteed because there’s no test for it. And once you have that, can claim headaches as secondary to it for an easier route. But migraines are almost the same way; just have to say the right things at the exam and guaranteed almost. Let me know if you ever have any questions. No one explains this stuff to us while we’re in, so we’re all here to help.
I actually got my first rating today at 40%. I still have my knees, hips, carpal tunnel, and headaches deferred. But it's a good start.
Got rated for my shoulder, tinnitus, and lower back.
That’s great! If you want to make it easier, you can claim your headaches as secondary to tinnitus. Knees are only rated at range of motion. Mine are super weak & painful at times, but I only get 10% for each because they still bend when I sit. But once you get knees or hips connected, can claim the other as secondary to increase your chances.
Good luck my fellow veteran! May the benefits gods rain down on you!
How many things were you claiming?
6 increases and 2 new. Saw on the app just now that they have increased me to %90 from %70
Welcome to the 90% gang. The last 10 is the hard part.
Welcome to the 90% gang. The last 10 is the hard part.
I didn’t realize how much it took… I increased 110% on the claims and only got 20 percent more compensation. VA math is strange math I guess
Yep. All together, mine add up to 170% but still need another 30 to get to 100.
I’m at 200 all together and at 90
That’s why the small claims aren’t really worth it. Sleep apnea should get me there though. Good luck to you!
Yeah I had a supplemental with 3 increases went from 0-60 in 4 months and 8 new claims that I’ve been waiting on since Sept 2023. It’s been anxiety level 10, trying to figure out the timeline.
claim the anxiety, lol!!
Oh absolutely that was on the list.
What’s the latest update you received before moving to prepare for notification?
Prayers brother!
How do you get to see that screen I’ve never see. That screen before
I wrote a quick walkthrough in the comments above on how to enable it. Scroll up and you should see it
How do you even get this Va claim tracker???
I replied yesterday with a quick walkthrough how to get it. It is in the comments above
Good luck to you …
good luck!
How can you see that additional detail ?
How long was you in initial review if you don’t me asking
Not long… I think I went quickly to evidence gathering
Why is the VA taking so long with claims?
Because Sleepy Joe is in charge of the VA now and his VA Secretary is clueless. 🙄
Good luck! Hoping for a positive decision!
Started my claim back in May last year and sitting in Evidence Gathering for about 4 months now, fingers crossed and you got this!
What is this website?
Have you received your rating yet?
I'm manifesting the crap out of this decision for ya. That's at least 125%
