Stumbled upon this Google maps view of Lockheed Martin Hangar 6.
Is it maybe this tech

Or even more exotic?

There was a C4 UK documentary called 'UFO's - The Secret Eveidence' hosted by Janes Defence Magazine reporter Nick Cook. It aired in 2005.
Right at the very end he mentions the Aurora project & then goes on to show some truly captivating contrail evidence of a hypersonic vehicle departing from Area 51 & heading out toward China & Russia . This clip has always kept me intersted in the Aurora mystery -
I remember seeing this at least 10-15 years ago, I’ve never seen the aircraft that made them but since watching this video about the donut contrails I’ve seen them in the sky a few times. Not a lot maybe 2-3 times in the years I’ve been aware of them
Declassify it!
This made me giddy with excitement. I remember reading about this thing 15 yrs ago
Wee bit small for Aurora
Best aircraft in Ace Combat 3
Unprofessional here, looks like it could be the nose tip to some larger craft, or rocket. and the two “engines” in the back could be connectors? lol
it looks like it’s more curved like a cone by the way the sun reflects off of it than flat.
They definitely don’t park secret shit outside during the day. They are not amateurs.
Looks like a nose cone to me…
Y’all, given its shape that’s a pretty big nose come. It’s about 10’ long and 7’ wide. For reference, an F-18 is about 56’ long. A 10’ nose one would be about 18% the length of the entire plane
Think rocket
Yeah. I realized that after I posted this comment.
I agree with this. It could possibly be a flight simulator for a jet, too. They have the nose cone/cockpit and looks like a building behind it.
Is this who i think is?
What happened to Jason, anyways? Haven't heard from him in a bit.
No doubt fighting aliens in the Kuiper Belt lol.
Can't be 😨
Professional here. Definately looks like a section of aircraft. At boeing we have sections like this all over the place
preferably make sure they are connected properly before trying to fly...
Dont fly
This comment is terrifying
That used to be Levi’s tag line for their button up jeans.
RCS profile test target.
In my unprofessional opinion, i concur.
I was gonna say the same thing - looks like the front cone to a rocket or something else. Nothing to see here I think.
Neat though.
I think ita just a troll object Lockheed set out for the Google Sattelite.
If I were them I'd have a troll decoy for every day of the week
My random guess. A triangle tarp over something else.
Very feasible
It does not look like it’s evenly proportional. I doubt this is an aircraft
I think it might be the detached nose of an aircraft.
Unknown object, but the asymmetry may be due to the shadow. For reference, look at the hanger’s shadow direction and amount.
A piece of an aircraft, perhaps.
It's those frogs maybe then?
A hypersonic missile maybe ? Or entry vehicle? (warhead)
This is photographed from an airplane, not 100% from above, so there is a slight deformation in all objects.
They also make space craft for space force. There are entire squadrons
D21 drone ?
Imagine an A-12/D-21 system built on a B-70 frame that launches a hypersonic skip-glider like Dyna-Soar, using boron zip-fuels and every other trick in the book to be just barely orbital or nearly so.
That zany idea sprang fully formed from the head of Zeus on the cover of Aviation Week in 2006, and has been downvoted into obscurity ever since.
D21 is longer and has1 central engine. This guy has 2 engines
No
Looks kinda like the SR-71 nose
Maybe a hypersonic test vehicle prototype. They launch them on ICBMs & it glides to its target at hypersonic speeds. It's basically an aerodynamic missile with advanced control surfaces.
Looks like the DARPA Falcon HTV 2. Could be Aurora related as others have said.
Try posting at r/specialaccess
Thx for the info! Done!
You'd probably be better off posting this over in r/SpecialAccess/
If you look back at the 2023 Google Satellite photo you can see what looks very similar to the "Dark Star" aircraft from the Top Gun Movie: https://i.ibb.co/KGnMvZH/fn8u60z1o0.png
My bed is an ICBM interceptor. I think we're working on tech to mitigate damage from a nuclear war by intercepting nuclear weapons payloads. You would pretty much need a fast as fuck tiny triangle to ram into a warhead I would think.
That's a cool bed!
Google keyboard autocorrect is so ass man. It's constantly fucking things up.
Yea I've noticed that too. It gets good for about 2 months and then sucks for the next 10 months. Rinse and repeat.
This is a tough nut to crack, especially once MIRVs became the norm decades ago. For full scale nuclear exchanges (particularly the US vs. Russia and/or China) you'd probably have hundreds of missiles in the air, each with multiple warheads, some of which are decoys, countermeasures, all hurtling towards their targets at hypersonic speeds. It's like trying to shoot a swarm of bullets out of the sky with another swarm of bullets, but at considerably faster speeds with probably less than 15 minutes to sort it all out (potentially far less time for SLBMs or FOBS). We have consistently failed at trying to develop viable anti-ballistic missile systems and mutually assured destruction has been (and remains) the primary deterrent.
Maybe, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't still try and maybe still are.
Aegis < SM3 < THAAD < GBI’s at Fort Greely and Vberg
The goal here is not parity by using our effectors for kinetic kills. The goal is a layered defense with different types of effectors for boost phase and mid course intercepts. - missiledefenseadvocacy.org is a great resource for this topic
Good catch!
P.S. They probably didn't synchronize the plane's cover with the Google satellite above them.
Maybe one of those drone space craft (the x51?) they've been testing?
That could a stealth variant, or just have a cover over to prevent damage to the re-entry shield.
Anyone have a size estimate? There looks to be a flatbed truck on the left of it, and the triangle only appears slightly larger.
By the look of the curvature very much appears to be the nose or cone of something.
That would otherwise be a wildly fucked up design for craft. You might as well drag a parachute behind you with drag like that.
Not a craft. I can’t imagine they would stick a craft on the side of the hangar around a bunch of other random equipment. Probably a tarp over something to keep it out of the sun
Could be anything
Looks like a nose cone.
I don't think this is anything anomalous, it's most likely a black budget stealth super sonic plane, possibly the Aurora.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_D-21 I put the link and name and automod said it was too short. It looks like D-21. Wild project from the skunks! I like the crazy parasitic aircraft ideas we’vre churned up!
Nose of the SR-71?
I doubt Lockheed would leave anything that’s sensitive and highly classified in plain sight where Russian or Chinese satellites could easily photograph it
Distraction and misdirection from the truth. Chess game classics….
Here on this planet, exists things beyond the wildest dreams and imaginations of man. Things beyond technology, beyond physics, beyond understanding.
A lucky few have witnessed things of this nature, fewer still understand (some of) these.
A grand universe indeed, but not for us. We pitiful humans.
Could be anything. It's a relatively small item. The aerospace industry builds all kinds of models and drones and equipment as part of R&D. They wouldn't park anything sensitive outside the hangar like that. I would guess a work drone of some sort.
Could be anything but not believing UFO tech would:
The one from zeta reticuli
This could be part of the NGAD program.
It’s a scale model used in wind tunnel tests.
That's the nose of an SR-71 Blackbird (manufactured by Lockheed)
Aliens, clearly aliens,
https://youtu.be/52exiDyhWB4?si=QMkrFX9K1syfMKwR
Watch this all the way through. If it's the same thing, here are close up videos of it "flying". Warping... etc. The tr-3b or the newer tr-3e
This is just a triangular ashtray.
Could be a cover for a drone or a plane tip but it’s definitely an intentional Easter egg.
Its a Lockheed D21
It might be an extra large sausage (maybe pepperoni) pizza slice that was being re-heated in an extra large pizza oven for way too long. They probably set it outside for garbage pickup. Maybe they don't have an extra large garbage dumpster. 🍕
Aurora, my beloved, it’s been 25 years…
