Toyota Tacoma
r/ToyotaTacoma•132.2K subscribers•20 activeTo clarify, I’ve owned over 15 Toyotas and 5 have been Tacomas. I’m a Toyota loyalist! However, I’ve recently read many recent issue on the new Toyota engine recalls, Tundra’s mainly that have the metal shavings and bearing problems. That said, I started researching the 2024 Nissan Frontier after I saw an ad saying it was over 310 horsepower!!! Ok so here’s my question, why aren’t more people considering the Frontier? It has significantly more horsepower, is a V6, no turbo needed, better gas mileage (debatable but it still has more range), lower overall maintenance costs, more headroom, more legroom, and costs approx. $3000-$4000 less than a Tacoma! Holy cow people. Just asking…
Is there a taco council that I can petition the ability to post with pictures? I have tried a few times and I cannot post pictures on this sub. I am a new taco owner and I want to show her off but I keep getting denied pictures in my post. How do I get that ability? I see others posting with pictures and I am jealous that I cannot.
2007 Tacoma. Cleaning it up and want to remove the seats for a full rug shampoo. Hints, pointers, advice, warnings?
For 2024 Limited model Tacomas, if msrp is around 55k, how much can you really barter them down to in a dealership?
I'm about to buy a car and move from Michigan to LA. I saw this low mileage 2019 Tacoma (or maybe it's a 2020, ad is unclear) for sale for only $16.8k.
Assuming this ad isn't a scam, I'm wondering if I could buy this Tacoma and then flip it once I'm out in LA. It seems like the Tacoma market in SoCal is super hot, and I have seen 2019/2020 model years listed for $20k+ out there.
Am I delusional?
Hey yall. I have a ‘22 TRD Sport and got a little freaked out today when I got a “Check VSC” and “PSC Malfunction” notification after driving a few miles down the beach in Corolla. The sand was pretty soft in some spots and there were quite a few bumps and weaving required when ruts got deep, but nothing nasty. Never got stuck and tires never left the ground, and I never made it faster than 30MPH so I was kind of confused when those errors came up.
Truck seems to be driving fine. I’m not really noticing it pulling in one direction (but it’ll be a few days before I’m back on pavement to really know). I’m hoping the TSS sensor got disconnected/cable loose/etc. Have you experienced this before? Maybe I legitimately fucked something up? 🤣 I got a lonnnnng drive back home so I hope not
