I mean if I was that character I'd just find somewhere to chill and try not to be noticed
In real life, 100%. But we all know this show is about revenge. Or maybe the writers just forget about her since it's been ages, lol
They're seeing this post, thinking oh shit
🤣🤣
She's confirmed to be appearing in season 4's episode "Assassination Run" according to the wiki
Who was she again
She broke out of that asylumy place where Lamplighter worked. She crushed the doors and a whole bunch of people. By the end she was just walking by a road and a car stopped to give her a ride.
I mean was she really even that important? Dozens of other supers escaped the facility but nobody cares about them. This one just happened to do more damage before leaving. I’m just not sure what makes her important or more important then any other hero we’ve seen that hasn’t reappeared
I think it's because they gave her her own ending scene where she hitchhikes!
I think that moreover was to show how she just wanted to be free, and never really wanted to hurt anyone. I do wish we got more closure with her however
I definitely agree, but I meant that because they gave her her own little standalone scene (and not the other supes trapped there), I knew she would be used or mentioned later at some point!
I hope Cindy is re-used! Loved the aura of fear surrounding her, similar to Homelander really. I wonder how they can implement the character and how they went about it considering they transitioned to male
he was just having a dysphoric moment guys
Oh? I don't follow
Ess is nonbinary. A mastectomy was performed. They are exactly the same person now as on screen at that time.
Thank you !
Agreed. Her exit could easily be a Chekhov's Gun.
Yes, probably. Would be greaaat seeing her help and fight along our Boys.
imagine if she shows up in the show and she's just living happily in a city with newfound friends and family lmfao
That guy with the long tentacle cock, that got burned during the orgy massacre.
What about him?
They were reinforcing your point that love sausage is a dude that escaped and showed up at herpgasm (because nobody cared about him)
herpgasm
V-herpes? That sounds... bad. Like, really bad.
Super bad!
Love sausage
I mean was she really even that important?
They gave her a whole scene where she is shown to have left unharmed. In films/tv shows, if the creators leave in a scene (spending precious screen time), it's usually because the scene is important. If it's unimportant, it's just not very good writing.
and she also demonstrated her powerful powers, no way nobody in Vought wanted to find Cindy(I think that's her name), she's hella powerful and can actually use her powers pretty well
It's a chekhov's gun
I thought she would play a vital role in killing Homelander or Victoria
She was literally just a red herring to make us not suspect Neuman was the head popper.
Maybe because writers pretty much reinforced on screen how powerful and feared she was? Just like SB, who ended up putting a great fight against Homelander. If you stop to think about it, SB, Maeve, Powered Butcher and a redemptfied A-Train would be enough to get Homelander. However Homelander rules by fear and many Supes are selfish enough to live their own lives without giving a fuck and not putting their lives on the line.
Who is even left for her to get revenge on she already murdered most of the people in the facility she was in
I think saying the writers forgot is a bit silly because it’s clearly a case of a character just no longer being relevant
Well she is a show only character lol
Yeah tbf she was a one off character in a random episode
She will 360 no scope homelander in finale.
Could you imagine the anti-climax of that??
Homelander and Butcher are swinging, bloody and raw.
They pause for breath. Homelander has a strange look on his face. He twitches as he grabs at his chest then -BOOM. Blood everywhere.
It is very possible she destroyed tons of metal doors in the supe facility in one go. We don't know the full extent of her power, except that Lamplighter was scared to death.
To be fair, I'm pretty sure Lamplighter was low on the durability scale for a supe. He begged Grace to kill him when she was pointing a 9mm handgun at his head. I assumed that meant that he knows even a small bullet to the head actually would kill him.
The bigtime supes we've met can shake off even rifle rounds no sweat. Starlight takes two 50 caliber sniper rounds to the chest and it just knocks the wind out of her. We really have no idea how much power Cindy has and I hope we find out!
He also died by fire so😂
Right up there with A-Train having a heart attack
At least in his case, it was because of superoids. Lamplighter is vulnerable to his own power, which is just shitty firebending.
bth firebenders themselves weren't immune either just look at zuko.
He didn't get burned by his own fire. And what I mean by shitty firebending is he can't make his own.
The compound V he was injecting as a steroid to fight old age was also over-strengthening his heart, which made it fight against itself (each atrium of the heart uses the others as leverage during its pumping phase)
Just gotta point out that I read this comment as I watched him have the heart attack, S1E8 54:00 🫡
That’s not saying much Lamplighter wasn’t that powerful and those doors weren’t super reinforced
Lamplighter was a glass cannon, he could evaporate reinforced steel doors with a zippo but one good hit with ye ol’ crowbar and it’s night night time
Yeah, I thought Lamplighter would be more Human Torch-like where he couldn't fry on his own supply.
It is funny/horrific to consider how many supers never developed the requisite secondary powers needed to survive using their primaries.
Like super speed with pop up durability means you rip your skin off. Or being able to fly without the lung capacity to breathe in high altitude
That was my first thought when I saw that guy who attacked Lamplighter spit up his own acid and died because he wasnt impervious to it himself.
I mean to be fair those would both be useful powers in day to day life if used in moderation. You can fly pretty high without asphyxiation and run pretty fast without ripping your skin off, you just wouldn't be able to do insane superhero shit.
With either one you're the best NBA player in the world.
game of thrones typa ending
Homelander just sorta forgot he had powers
I think the equivalent would be him forgetting The Boys exist or something, which makes sense in this context because homelander is so self obsessed. I think that's what they were going for in GoT, but they needed at least one more season to justify that level of descent into madness where you're so corrupted and egotistical you allow yourself to forget there are people who can challenge you.
True, GOT type ending would be cindy busting homelander in episode 3 in a two episode setup, then fighting edgar until they all die and Stillwell becomes president/vought ceo.
Somehow Stormfront returned
"And who has a better story..."
"than Teddy Stillwell the flatulent."
What about her, Marie and Neuman slowly crush/ripping a weakend homelander as he fights his way towards them?
Neuman just gives HL a fucking heart attack.
Turns out you don't need to pop his head. Just gotta stop his heart for 2 beats.
Once all the chambers of his heart are filled with blood at the same time, he cannot survive. It'll seize.
That'd be another good anti-climax. Everyone just like "IT WAS THAT EASY?!"
His kryptonite is skim milk
More like unpasteurized/raw milk
No we have seen him drink milk straight from a cow, is say his weakness is just goat milk (antony Starr himself thinks goat milk is gross)
Ah yeah if we view it as he won't drink it then yeah.
I was thinking more like the dude kinda loses it and needs the milk to be a bit stable.
He basically does because it's his substitute for a mommy
His true nemesis, Powdered MilkMan.
Not to be confused with the great Powered ToastMan
Well… His heart ist probably too strong for that and knowing that he regularly accelerates with dozens of g without a black- or redout just to fly we can assume that Neuman can’t reverse his bloodflow.
I think it's safe to assume that her manipulation of blood would be enough to "hold" it in place, even despite his strength. But I doubt that's the direction they wanna go with it
The cardiovascular system is made out of muscle tissue and Homelander is strong af so his cardiovascular system is probably also strong af.
Yeah and two beats for homelander is plenty of time to murder her. She needs line of sight and he would know she's there from her heartbeat.
Maybe they could play the Supe deafening tone to scramble him long enough for her to do it, but I think ultimately the reason it won't happen is because her character is too afraid of what would happen if it fails. Homelander would kill her and her family, so she'd never try. And homelander has very little reason to go after them specifically since they're both supes and I think her character is smart enough to know not to piss him off or be in his way when he's angry.
Well and Maive stuck a metal rod straight through his eardrum, and he recovered pretty quickly. So I'd imagine he could withstand the bloodbending.
If his healing factor is as good or even better than Kimiko's, who was literally ripped in half, guts hanging out and essentially dead, then killing him may be completely out of the question. For all we know, she explodes his head and it just takes him a few days before he's back to full strength.
I mean, she might be even able to pop his head. She never tried.
I honestly think what'll happen is Neuman will use the virus on him when she thinks it's strong enough but even then it won't kill him quickly instead slowly killing him and after a bit of trying to fight off or cure the virus he'll finally just say fuck it and start killing people because now he knows there's no going back for.
She comes out of nowhere and jumps at Homelander. Homelander turns around and grabs her by the neck, looking as if he's going to kill her. She looks down with a cheeky smirk and Homelander looks down as well. Then his stomach explodes and the Long Night is over.
And who had a better story than Ashley the hairless?
Steve Buscemi in Billy Madison vibes
But aren’t multiple people from the facility also running wild and free? I mean love sausage was there and we saw him in hero gasm. So there’s probably more.
His peen got burned by Soldier Boy at Herogasm. He’s useless. Probably.
We can rebuild him.
But noone strong enough to combust people at will- especially other supes. Shes worth note imo.
I honestly have been wondering where she is. I remember her being super strong too, probably one of the strongest in The Boys universe
Probably the strongest outright, or at the very least second only to homelander
Didn’t storm front one shot her I doubt she’s stronger than soldier boy also or even victoria
Victoria? Anyway yeah stormfront did one shot her, I didn’t remember that. Still not everyone has that range, soldier boy particularly doesn’t have that range, and I imagine that with her range and strength she could win. People with speed such as a train or range such as starlight could win, but other regular powerhouses likely lose

What did she do again that was important? Iike genuinely I don’t remember
She Is a pretty powerful supe with telecinetic powers and she escaped the asylum and the last time we've seen her was when she was catching a ride in season 2 (can't remember the episode)
She escaped Aslume ?
Is she stupid?
Oh no
oh no no no no
Jonkler leaking
Is there a lore reason for why Jonkler is in Bois universe?
The balls universe
Officer Balls
BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAH
I think cause Planelander touched Man once.
Homeder.
I don't fkn know
😂😂😂
She blows up people with the move of a fist. One of the most powerful supes in the show. Curious to see her again
She escaped from Sage Grove Medical Center and hitchhiked with some guy.
Nothing, she's a wildcard.
She's basically like the Vought equivalent of Eleven from stranger things... super OP telekinesis and can implode people with her mind.
Spoiler:
Kinda lame to just put this out there without a spoiler warning dude, some of us don’t like to read the leaks and look at the Wiki. I know we all run this risk by looking at the comments, but my point still stands.
Did you watch the show though? This is a character from 2 seasons ago…
It’s not a spoiler that she exists. It’s a spoiler when they start talking about something that happens in a specific future episode.
I mean Kripke flat out said she’s coming back. So it’s either this season or next
The previous comment used to have the episode number in it, it was edited before you saw it.
Sure remember it, thanks to rewatching for S4. Really powerful supe, and she's still out there too.
What are her powers? I can't remember her lol
Pressure Manipulation, which allows her to crush objects or cause people to implode. She also has Super Strength, is bulletproof and endured Stormfront's sustained electric blast without any visible injury, though it hurt her badly and knocked her out for a while.
Damn, she's kinda op.
Ikr? The full range of her pressure manipulation hasn't been determined yet, but even at mid range, it's pretty much an insta-kill move against most supes.
Could pressure manipulation create nuclear fusion?
Probably could but I doubt it'll play a part in the plot
I'm calling it: she's gonna hold someone's head together to prevent it from getting popped.
I imagine this with especially nauseating vfx
That would actually be pretty cool to see 2 powers working against each other
Wouldn’t the inside contents of their heads get popped anyway?
Always wondered how Stormfront's blasts of electricity didn't do more visible damage, even to non-supes. Like it knocked them back and left them stunned or hurt for a bit but that's literal electricity. Nothing getting fried and no third degree burns or anything
Maybe her ability is limited to, or she only ever learned how to, output low amperage DC current at stupidly high voltages? Depending on the limits, she could be great at making intimidating looking electrical arcs, but present only about as much danger as any other wall-socket made by a bunch of racists in the 40s.
She living a quiet life now in Hawkins.
yea.. aside from the alternate dimension that opened up from the ground like a literal version of hell.
This isn't friendly at all
Low-key cute
Gives me Jack from Mass Effect 2 vibes
A powerful telekinetic with a buzz cut who is kept prisoner in a research facility and experimented on.
Damn I feel old suddenly.
Would.
Irl they transitioned into a male
Wood.
Still would
And? Point stands.
🤷♂️😘
Smash
Again.
High key, the actor's also an acrobat and jacked
Can I please get a reminder on who this is
Ess Hödlmoser as Cindy from the psych ward where stormfront and lamplighter were experimenting on compound v in adults.
Ess was also part of Simon the Devious’ Crew with me in the first season of What We Do in the Shadows. :p
He really was the most devious bastard in New York City.
Eleven from stranger things
The kids have really grown up since the first season.
Tyvm. I should rewatch the earlier seasons.
The irl actor who played this character is now on HRT and transitioned so I don't know if they'd recast or just explain it somehow if the character comes back (source: I found the actor on tiktok the other day)
A character going through HRT offscreen wouldn't make it in the Top 20 craziest things that happened to the characters that week... Pretty easy to explain. Especially a character with a newfound freedom. For how little we know of this character it would make a lot of sense.
Just have the character also transition
Then transition the character too! They already have a sex changing character in gen V.
Plot twist: They added Jordan's powers to Gen V only to explain Cindy's transition on S4.
Just pull an Anasui
During an epic battle in the finale, she happens to walk by, looks dispassionately at all the carnage, shrugs and destroys Homelander. Then she walks away.
It’s Eric kripke if it’s anything like supernatural she will come back for one episode and get one shotted
I just hope they don’t break her wrists like Kimiko’s brother and she lasts a bit longer.
I still hate that he was barely able to put up a decent fight against Stormfront before getting taken out. I rewatched the previous seasons in anticipation and I noticed when Kenji goes to stop Stormfront from choking out Kimiko, he TACKLES her instead of using his powers like he did to great effect just a second ago against Homelander. I get they needed to kill him off but it felt a little contrived to have him tackle her instead of hurling something huge at her, which obviously would’ve hurt her way more than simply trying to body slam Stormfront.
Couldn’t agree more, or how Homelander somehow doesn’t hear Kimiko fumbling around on the roof when a few episodes earlier he could hear Becca across the entire community talking to the security detail. Imagine if a season was 12-20 episodes instead of 8? Many smaller details would be a bit less contrived including that scene with Raynor with no signs of where a head popper could be randomly lying in wait.
I thought that was Wentworth Miller 😭
She did break out of a prison.
Twins
I wonder what they've been up to since escaping Sage Grove.
Was that in the leaks? I really didn’t see them using her character for anything else.
Yeah.

Wait, what leaks? Do they spoiler the next season or just the 4th?
We'll find her at a "Just Stop Oil" protest.
Mentally crushing the spray paint cans.
Wait I forgot about her power. What was it? I just remember it was pretty deadly.
Telekinesis / psychic stuff
Not every character that has more than 5 min screentime comed back in later episodes
I thought she died
Pretty obviously a parody of Stranger Things' Eleven.
I think they just had this character to make people think it was her popping heads and not Neuman
I'm 99% sure the writers forgot she exist.
At this point might as well just recast her has Millie Bobby brown and then we can have a stranger things tie in where compound v actually comes from the underdark
I heard she is coming back... Really powerful .... Man she deserves a spot in the 7, If Firecracker can then so must she...
I get the feeling she's gonna be important later
FRIENDS DON'T LIE
I read somewhere that he/she will come back this season
She's still walking.
I swear I saw her in the trailer, but with hair, holding a gun and wearing a long coat
TIL: She was in all 8 episodes of Season 1, behind the scenes as the assistant stunt coordinator. :)
Feels a lifetime ago and her referencing strange things feels so outdated
I'm calling it, she kills Ryan!
Face card actually insane
11 will return
I think 95% of shows have a storyline they abandoned i think this will be one
It's so weird that it's been two seasons since she appeared and they did nothing with her. She felt like setup for something and it never happened.
I miss this character
Hey its Negasonic Teenage Warhead
when all the head popping stuff was happening, I thought it was this escaped character that was the one doing it behind the scenes
The actor, Ess, is an AMAZING human being.
Take a look here & watch them on Motherland Fort Salem.
Yes, this subreddit brings up this loose thread on a regular basis.
didn’t think much of her character, felt like a small reference to Stranger Things with her being an Eleven like character
