Replacement buses for Queen and Beaconsfield track replacement is a disaster

There was so much disorganization with the shuttle buses and what to do despite this being a planned closure. The buses either drop you off at Bathurst or Spadina and then don't communicate how to go further east. One guy told me that the shuttle bus driver didn't know anything because he normally drives in Scarborough. There are no loud speakers for the bus. We couldn't hear what he was saying. Apparently all the streetcars are on Dundas now: 501, 504 508 and 505. If you want to go straight without having to transfer to a shuttle bus go to Dundas

Yeah pretty wild to have no streetcar service along Queen or King west of Bathurst. Right now if you're along the Queensway and trying to get to Queen Station you have to take a streetcar, change to a bus, change to another streetcar, then another bus

I feel like "Bus, Subway, Subway" is a transit solution for "Queensway to Queen Station" that needs more consideration.

That's pretty much how it goes. They tell us to go downtown and what streets to turn on and that's about it.

I would have said the same thing the scarborough driver said. I don't know the downtown area and there were no supervisors on the ground directing shit

They love to do a bus replacement that doesn't go quite far enough. Extending them to Church or something would create some duplication of service, but it would allow for easier transfers & for people to get to the subway without having to change vehicle. Of course though it would cost too much money, so it shan't happen!

Waited 20 min at Bathurst yesterday. Gave up and started toward Dufferin. Bus passed me at Dovercourt. Total joke
