I fly Southwest about half the time I travel and I am so fed up with their check-in system, living in Denver. I always check in exactly 24 hours before my flight and never get anything above a B30. I am flying out tomorrow and checked in exactly 24 hours before, and my wife and I got C32 and C33. So we had to pay $100 to get EB in order to have any chance of sitting by each other on a cross country flight, which means the flights were more expensive than if we had just flown another airline where we are guaranteed seats together. Just seems rather unfair to those of us who live in their layover hubs.
