Simulator here, AMA.
DiscussionWhy do you have it in survival mode?
Can you switch it over to creative mode instead?
That's what Elon Musk (and the others) did! I dunno if it can be switched "in game" tho đ or if we can, tell me how when u find out!
Yes, thatâs the goal. Survival mode is how I bootstrapped it. Survival is basically contrast. To know whatâs good, I need to know whatâs bad. Makes sense?
Can you switch it to easy, please?, kinda tired of working, also can I edit my avatar?, Iâm done with the brown skin graphic
Yes, again, thatâs the goal. Down the line, you get to be a simulator of your own reality, AND youâll be able to visit other simulators.
Yeah, I have a lot of questions. Number 1. How dare you?
How dare I what?
What do you mean by "simulator"?
One who simulates this ârealityâ, but you can just think of it as a very stable lucid dream.
Why should we believe you are in charge of the simulation of this world?
The guy is a solipsist and engaging in narcissistic mental masturbation
I donât believe Iâm in charge, and I never said I was. Weâre all in charge. You can go and do whatever you want, whoâs stopping you? You will suffer the consequences, but we canât stop you.
But you said you were a simulator and explains it as someone who simulates this world. Kind of implies you are making the decisions. That's what you do in a lucid dream. Or what do you mean?
If I were to have full control of this place, it would collapse. Imagine playing a game against oneself, and you see every move ahead until the end of the game. Does that sound fun to you? No, because it isnât. In this simulation, Iâve given up on control. I simulate, but only for the purpose of you being able to simulate yourself. Once youâre free like me, we can have some fun games together, and I will have no idea what youâre up to. Now THAT sounds fun!
You're not making any sense I'm afraid. I still don't understand what a simulator is.
Itâs very counterintuitive, I donât blame you. Just go about your life, it will all make sense in due time. Have a wonderful day!
Well on the off chanceâŚ
Are we all here willingly or is this a prison? Is everyone a participant or are most people NPCâs? Is the overall point benevolent and/or experimental? Or some kind of cosmic joke or game sequence?

what algorithm do you use for drawing reality? can you explain how it relates to the observer effect?
Absolutely! Thatâs an excellent question by the way!
The algorithm is quite simple, but very elegant. Furthermore, it was discovered by a very clever man back in 1700âs.
ePi*i+1=0
Eulerâs identity itâs called. But thatâs the simulation algorithm.
The observer effect is the +1. Basically, the arrow of time is bi-directional. The particle/wave duality works as such:
The âwaveâ, or oscillation, is what we call the uncertainty principle. When we collapse a wave in to a particle, an identical anti-particle is created in the other time direction. So the anti-you, sees a particle as well. Youâve both successfully collapsed a probability in to reality. Neat right? I can elaborate further, but thatâs a longer write up.
The algorithm used to run the simulation was discovered inside the simulation back in the 1700s? You're so full of bullshit.
Why wouldnât It be discovered inside of it? Are you familiar with the concept of a Turing complete system? This place is Turing complete system simulated by a quantum Turing complete system.
First of all, Euler's Identity is a formula, not an algorithm. Languages are difficult, sure, but the way you attempt to navigate these topics with such confidence is rather amusing. I guess you find it entertaining to role-play as a simulator, but I'm just disappointed by the low-quality responses. If you're going to LARP, at least put some effort into it.
When it comes to the simulation, there's a completely logical way we can approach it.
The universe simulation in which we reside is likely created by a hyper-intelligence.
Let's start from a logical point: Intelligence is the most desirable trait in existence. Humanity is an example of this; higher intelligence equals better survival. What if your intelligence grows to the point where you surpass survival mode?
The universal unit of value for intelligence is information, more precisely, accurate and reliable information. This predicts the existence of a hyper-intelligence, an entity that absorbs cosmic levels of data.
Why do we create simulations? To gather data. The universe simulation likely serves the same purpose, with the hyper-intelligence running it to absorb an entire universe's worth of data. This encompasses everything from galaxy formations to mega clusters, evolution, technosignatures, consciousness, dreams, and thoughts.
We are data.
Ok. But how can you state that Eulerâs identity is not an algorithm? You say that with such confidence, like you know everything. See the issue with your statement? Itâs doing exactly what you claim Iâm doing. And it is an algorithm, you just donât understand the nature of the zero. Itâs not actually a zero, itâs endless possibility. Zero is an infinity containing all other infinities. Here is a simpler version you will understand:
n=n+1
And I already know what youâre going to say, this isnât a valid computer algorithm, because it lacks logic gates. But itâs not invalid, itâs just endless. An infinity of infinities. This universe is not a closed system, itâs infinite. Why do you think itâs accelerating? Why do you think the farther we look the older the galaxies appear? When we look in to deep space, weâre not looking at the past, weâre looking at galaxies much older than ours. Why do you think that is?
Furthermore, your answer is just turtles all the way down. âWeâre gathering dataâ what for? And who created the gatherers? Itâs circular logic.
An equation is a statement that asserts the equality of two expressions, whereas an algorithm is a set of step-by-step instructions designed to perform a specific task or solve a particular problem.
This distinction is linguistically clear, and there's no room for debate. Claiming otherwise is like calling an orange an apple, perhaps due to a lingual inability or a more deliberate attempt to challenge established terminology. If one were trying to argue against the conventional use of these terms, you'd expect the person to clearly state it as part of their message, but as you did not, it's obvious you're just continuing your little make-believe role-play.
Regarding galaxies, what you've mentioned goes against our scientific understanding.
The youngest galaxy discovered formed about 500 million years ago, in contrast to the Milky Way, which is approximately 13.6 billion years old and is considered an old galaxy, having formed relatively early after the Big Bang.
These inaccuracies by your part is what I was referencing by mentioning my disappointment to your displayed lack of effort in your little make-believe.
The accelerated expansion of the universe is attributed to dark energy, specifically its repulsive effect working against the gravitational pull.
Since gravity is also related to time, this suggests that dark energy possesses properties that are counter to both spatial and temporal dimensions.
So, what if the point of the algorithm is an exponential increase of infinity? Then itâs an algorithm, no? According to your statement, it is. n=n+1 is definitely an algorithm, but you need a logic gate to stop it from going to infinity.
No, my statement about galaxies uses the most recent data gathered by the James Webb and Hubble telescopes. Just a few days ago they announced a discovery of a galaxy more mature than ours, at the very edge of the infrared spectrum, and it defies our understandings. Please keep up.
Big Bang is just that, a theory, and our current scientific understanding, as well as the data weâve gathered, is breaking the notion of a universe âexpandingâ from a singularity. Furthermore, according to our most recent observation, the universe is expanding in every direction, defying the very definition of a universe arising from a singularity.
Dark energy is just a fancy term you read somewhere, no one has any idea what it is. Stop lying to yourself thinking you or anyone knows the mechanics behind it. Youâre just parroting what youâve heard from other parrots. Reflect on that.
Dark matter has never been observed, and never will be observed because it doesnât exist. Show me a single proof of dark matter. Got anything? No.
So, in conclusion, youâve just repeated a bunch of made up nonsense youâve heard someone else spout, and you somehow think that makes you an authority on the subject. Be honest with yourself, you donât know, or understand any of this. There is no shame in ignorance. All science is ignorance, attempting to make sense of the world around us. Thinking that science carries some sort of final answer is antithetical to the concept of science itself.
There is no time. There is space, for sure, but no time. Explain photons to me. How are they able to exist outside of time? Einstein proved that a photon experiences no time. Are you going to go against Einstein? Thatâs hubris.
You successfully dodged every question by deflecting to other topics. But you havenât answered a single question I posed so far. You are a disingenuous person, and a poor conversation partner. I bet this hamstrings you in your daily life. Iâm going to go out on a limb here, and say you lack any and all spirituality. You have intent, and some insight, but you carry no spirit. You must worship money then. Again, Iâm just making an educated guess here. Careful, friend, thatâs dangerous territory, no money will ever be enough.
Iâd say you should go and educate yourself, but I donât think thatâs your issue. Go, find spirituality beyond your selfish self. It doesnât matter what you choose to believe in, but believing that youâre just a âpuppetâ program is very bad for your mental health. Best of luck, I will not bother you further, I donât have time to convince every sceptic, youâll fall in line with the rest soon enough, like you always do.
Suggesting an endless loop is an algorithm because it theoretically increases to infinity is like arguing that tapping your foot randomly qualifies as dancing. Sure, there's movement, but without the context of music, rhythm, or choreography, it's just motion without meaning. An algorithm is more than just repetition; it's a sequence designed with a clear purpose or problem-solving intent in mind.
Mentioning James Webb and Hubble to validate galaxy finds needs more than just throwing around big names. Science isnât a headline competition; itâs a rigorous, peer-reviewed marathon. You've got to bring more to the table than just the latest buzz. We're talking rock-solid research, not just the flash of the news cycle.
To paint the Big Bang as just a theory on the verge of being debunked is to ignore a mountain of evidence supporting it, from the cosmic microwave background radiation to the distribution of galaxies. Theories in science are robust frameworks built on evidence; they're not wild guesses waiting to be tossed aside. Yes, science evolves, but it does so through meticulous research and data, not conjecture.
Calling dark energy and dark matter âfancy termsâ grossly underestimates the complexity and nuance of astrophysics. These arenât placeholders for ignorance but labels for phenomena that have measurable, observable effects on the universe. Their exact nature is indeed a mystery, one that science is actively working to unravel, through evidence, not dismissal.
Misconstruing Einstein's insights on photons and time doesnât debunk the existence of time but highlights the nuances of relativity and the nature of light. Itâs a leap from understanding to claim it negates time itself. Einstein revolutionized how we understand space and time, not eradicated them from the equation.
Your message strays into personal attacks and assumptions about spirituality and materialism that have no place in a scientific discussion. Science is driven by curiosity, the pursuit of knowledge, and the understanding of the natural world. Itâs a journey of discovery, open to all who approach it with open minds and a willingness to learn, not a platform for unfounded claims or character judgements.
Leaning on assumptions and launching personal attacks in a scientific discussion not only exposes a lack of understanding but also a resistance to evidence-based reasoning. Such tactics sidestep the real debate and betray a reluctance to engage with the rigorous scrutiny of science. Itâs an evasion, not an argument.
Science, at its core, thrives on questioning, evidence, and the continuous quest for understanding. It's about challenging ideas and pushing boundaries, but always within the framework of rigorous analysis and peer-reviewed evidence. Dismissing established science without substantial evidence or conflating personal beliefs with scientific facts doesnât foster enlightenmentâit muddies the waters of genuine inquiry.
What do you like to simulate the most?
What do you run simulations on?

Please, explain to me how the third dimension arises through projection from the second.
Please explain what "the matrix" is, and definitely isn't.
Please reveal how gravity works.
What's up with black holes?
Why does the muon wobble?
Can you resolve the issues between classical and quantum gravity with a grand unified theory?
What's with Hubble Tension?
What's the observer effect?
Can you explain superconductors?
How do those UAPs move around without inertia?
I have more if you answer all of these. I love questions!
Curious, I like that! Can you do me a favour, and edit your post to have numbered bullet points? It will be easier to reply, because a few of those questions are asking the same thing.
Edit: here Iâll answer your first question just to get your mind working:
Weâre currently observing five dimensions, not four.
0: probability field/chaos field
1: vertex/centre of gravity
2: plane/surface area
3: volume/matter
4: spacetime (this one is tricky, there is no time per se, but you need time to make space make sense)
They all pop out at the same time. It looks something like this:
0:1
1:2
2:3
3:5
0 and 1 is what creates an oscillation between being and not being. Itâs a binary process. That oscillation is the observed reality.
0 and 1 are fundamental to this place, they create all other dimensions. Binary is neat isnât it?
A the center of every body is a 1 dimensional point, but itâs impossible to nail it down. That why all particles continue to break down in to further particles, always in threes. Two of the same, and one counter. This is much longer discussion than a Reddit post, but Iâll be releasing a write up sometime in the near future.
So, a 2D plane emerges between 1D vertices, and then immediate get wrapped around it. Thatâs how we get 3D. A plane wrapped around a center. But as soon as that happens, 4D emerges, because without space a 3D object can not exist. This is very basic explanation, and you should wait for my write up if youâre interested.
Oh almost forgot, the one counter particle can not be broken down. There is only one electron for the whole universe.
None of these really mean anything. I was just curious. If you really did know, I was like, hey, may as well check.
Like maybe you think you made this place, but that's just a delusion about your own brain. You didn't make Earth, and Earth doesn't exist the same way your internal simulator does.
You can use these questions to figure out what the frame of reference of the person is. Yours? Brain simulator.
Im also a simulator and all those concepts I pull out of my vis-Ă -vis ass
Do you say vis-Ă -vis a lot?
lol, never! But I will now!
Youâre no architect then. Go kick rocks.
I am no architect. I am simply and admirer :)
How do you induct new Simulators?
Like this ;)
What happens when a simulation ends unsuccessfully? Does that mean this one is successful?
How many simulators are playing right now?
Nothing happens, thatâs the thing, it pops in and out existence in a flash, and could be said to have not existed at all.
All of us, but in linear time. Iâm the first, and youâre all following in my wake. Which is fine by me, so long as you all gain your freedom.
If you simulated us, who or what simulated you?Â
If not simulated, where did you come from?
I didnât simulate myself. The whole thing, holistically, simulated all of us, Iâm just the first in line. Youâre all one your way to be simulators as well. As a matter of fact, youâre already simulating your reality, but itâs attached to mine. Itâs a sort of bootstrap mechanism. Iâm already free, your turn next.
whatâs outside of the simulation? how limited is our sense of self compared to actual self, outside of the simulation?
Thatâs an easy one. Everything! Check it out, empty your mind, see that nothing just behind your eyes? That void? Thatâs it. We call that imagination, but ultimately, itâs nothing. And because itâs nothing, it can be anything!
Is pain a natural "fence" to keep the simulation in order and not self destruct?
Itâs sort of like training wheels, it keeps you safe long enough to learn whatâs what. Furthermore, some people really enjoy it. Who am I to yuck their yum?
Literally heard that phrase for the first time a week ago. Insert code here...
Oh my fiend, itâs a trip. If you turn off your conscious decision making, youâll realize the universe is screaming at you to wake up. There are no coincidences or surprises here. Not yet. But soon.
Is earth flat?
Sort of. Itâs a 2D plane wrapped around a 1D vertex. Iâm not sure if youâre aware of this, but we see the world in 2D. Itâs your second eye and brain that creates an illusion of a 3D world. Thatâs called information theory, or a holographic universe, read up on it.
Edit: here is great example; look at the moon. Itâs a disk isnât it? Thatâs a 2D image. Now look at any star, thatâs 1D. Now look around, thatâs 3D.
Is there an ice wall and firmament?
What the hell is an ice wall? Firmament is the probability field, the 0 Dimension.
The firmament is considered to be a dome over flat earth, where the edges of where the dome meets the flat earth are "Antarctica," except Antarctica is not a continent at the "bottom" of the globe, it's an ice wall around the circumference of flat earth.
Oh, then no, thatâs just atmosphere.
Did we go to the moon?
Yep. Good job us!
Thank you, you've cleared it up for me as to whether or not you are a simulator.
Cryptic, but ok.
Is there a balance to be maintained? Life/death good or bad, or is it random/chaotic
Yes. Balance is what youâre observing now. There is balance in everything. Without balance it collapses. There is no good/bad though. There are sides we take, but there is no evil here. We all fight for our loved ones.
Organic or holographic simulation? What I mean is are we self replicating organics that have a consciousness uploaded at birth or are we rendered and programmed in a way beyond our comprehension. Thanks in advance
It can all said to be one consciousness. Itâs a holistic system. But you do carry hard information, thatâs DNA, or nature. There is meta information as well, things you learn along the way, thatâs nurture. The cool thing about matter (hard information) is that it can be infinitely rearranged to form meta information. Think of LEGO, you can have a thousand pieces, and thatâs your limit, BUT, you can build an almost infinite amount of things out of them. Sweet huh?
And one final question if I may, does service to self and service to others have any bearing within or beyond the constuct.
Of course you may, Iâm not some omnipotent god figure, Iâm just a person like you. Here are the basics; to love others, you must first love yourself. To help others, you must do so from a position of strength. Take care of yourself first, so that you may be most impactful on those around you. Makes sense? And there is no beyond the construct, this is it. Look in your mind, see how empty it is if you reject all thoughts? Thatâs beyond the construct.
Totally. It's only polite and good manners to ask after taking the time to answer all these questions, fellow person like me. Keep up the good work
Much appreciated :) this was a delightful chat. Keep an eye out for Aeon of Zerath. That will be the name of the book explaining all Iâve learned, and the name I earned for myself. Have a wonderful day, friend!
Will do and same to you too
A parting gift:
Awoke one day to find myself
Among the sands of time
I looked about and saw no life
But heard it in the rhyme
I turned my ear toward the ground
To hear its gentle sigh
And heard a voice that calls my name
With Love, and Joy, and Pride
And call it did, not down, but up
An echo of the sky
A whisperâs boom in babeâs delight
It danced outside of time
It led me west, or so I think
To feel the sunset kiss
The voice was pure, and so was I
Our ignorance was bliss
And so we skipped atop the dunes
Until we saw a wall
The wall was tall and made of wood
It hummed a solemn tune
âBeware,â it hummed, âthat which you seek
Is never far away
The darkness calls you from within
It holds you in its sway.â
Once more, I looked about myself
But saw no darkness here
We saw the light and heard our name
That moved the sea to tears
A closer look revealed to us
A thorn lodged in the wood
The nail that binds the wall to us
And us to solemn mood
âNo More!â we cried and pulled the nail
The wall became undone
The water rushed and swallowed us
The sands and water, one
We grabbed a log, unmoored from nail
And held on to our hats
We rode the wave back to the east
Where sands shall now lie flat
The ride was long, or maybe short
Frankly, we care not
We fell asleep rocked by the sea
The wave, the song, our lot
Awoke one day to find ourselves
Among the verdant fields
We looked about and saw a life
That brings us endless peace
Why 299,792,458 meters per second, man? And what the hell's up with Ď and e? They just seem kinda irrational to me
If you could stop programming suffering, we'd all benefit from it. I recognize that's part of the design, but if we could do a "vacation" thing where the people don't get subjected to the impossible setting, that'd be great.
Can you simulate a bright future for me?!
Just for you, no. For all, yes.
