Glory to God I passed this f*cking test on the third try. HUGE SHOUTOUT to Dean (Series 7 Guru), Brain Lee (TestGeek), and Kaplan's premium course and their Qbank. Had a 71 my first go and a 72 my second. I've been studying for close to a year, from studying for my health and life insurance and passing it on the first go, my SIE and passing that on my first go, my Series 7 with passing on my second go, and finally my Series 66 passing it on my third.

What I learned from each exam and attempt is to treat each test as if you know there is no crossover, do not and I repeat DO NOT get overconfident. Listen to Dean when he says to operate from an abundance even if you feel or if people say it's not going to be in the exam just write it down and make it known to yourself because truly nerves can get to you.

What I saw on the test was MULTIPLE ethical behavior & disclosures, investment advisory contracts, mutual funds (especially with prospectus delivery requirements), IRR definition, hedge funds, and recommendations. Didn't pick up the calculator once. Also ran into book value and the answer was purchase price - depreciation/amortization, when I saw it I literally prayed to God and said "Thank you so much for Dean Tinney the GOAT of these exams".

If you have the Kaplan Qbank (and exhaust the Qbank), TestGeek exam, and Series 7 Guru explicated exams you'll be fine in terms of being prepared for the type of questions that are going to be asked.

My best recommendation for Series 66 is to actually learn the content don't memorize the questions or even the way its being asked also to take a week and write notes on all the Kaplan Course videos, the following week start Kaplan Qbank exams once a day/remediation and watch and write notes on all of Deans lectures on youtube and watch him take exams, the third week continue the exams and watch and write notes on TestGeek course, and the fourth week keep doing those exams and I recommend striving for 90% for each exam and do custom exams on Section 3 (30 questions) on the Series 66 (in Kaplan that would be Units 15-18 & 21-23) and Section 4 (Units 8-14) (45 questions). Also, paper flashcards go a long way I ended up making 4280 flashcards (I weighed it). It might seem like overkill but again operate out of abundance and you might as well end strong.

My average over 15 exams was 86%, a huge reason would be because everything that the performance tracker said was below 80% I would read about it, take custom exams, and wouldn't stop reviewing it until it was over 80%.

The best way to do all that without feeling overwhelmed IMO would be to do 30 min study blocks with 5 mins of rest in between each of them and keep doing that until I was done for the day. I had 1 block of Kaplan videos, 1 block of custom quizzes, 1 block of quizlet flashcards, 1 block of paper flashcards, 1 block of Guru videos, and 1 block of Guru quizzes. I would do this after taking a exam.

This doesn't have to be for you, I'm just putting this out there because I was trying to find a study plan that was the most efficient and I came into this exam with little to no fear, especailly since before the exam, and before doing questions 61 and 91, I would say a prayer to give all the fears and anxieties to the good Lord.

Eternally grateful do Dean and Brian. No matter what don't give up anything can be achieved if you plan for it, work hard, and execute the plan with discipline.

Also, Dean, I'm staying subscribed to your channel forever and if you take donations please let me know, THANKS!!!
