Which major cities would you consider “slow”(er) paced?

Of course NYC, Chicago, and Boston are known for being faster cities, but what would you consider the other ones?

What do you mean by that? I’ve been here 6 years and it doesn’t feel cut throat at all

Other people described it well - careerist, sizing people up, work-as-virtue, denial of wealth, etc

Eh, that all depends on the crowd you’re hanging out with I think.

Sure, but it is possible to say that certain cities can have certain cultural tendencies (otherwise this sub would have much less utility!), and what I described is a significant cultural tendency in Boston and the suburbs to the west.
