Is there a reason the mobile Coinbase wallet app isn't updating the correct dollar amount of my $SHIB?

Question

I've maintained 67+ Mil Shiba since April. I've moved it to Coinbase wallet since that was the only way I've been able to buy it back then. About a month ago it had said my SHIB was worth about $532.

I just did the math and that number is WAY low, so I installed the desktop app to view my Coinbase wallet and the correct amount is now showing. The app isn't good for shit right now and I'm confused.

Also while I have you here, what's the best way to store my SHIB and best way to buy more? Coinbase still says it doesn't support SHIB. I want to buy more but I want an easier way than I did back in April which was to buy ETH then use a web converter to put it into SHIB

Sounds weird. It shows up correct on my Coinbase app. But i dont use the wallet app tho… The question is: should I?

I tried to buy SHIB on Coinbase and it says it's not supported on my region. I only used the wallet by coinbase because it was the only way I was able to purchase it at all back in April.

Are you able to just outright buy SHIB on regular Coinbase? I can't even do it on Coinbase pro

Oh, I see. Yes I only have regular Coinbase and thats where I bought it the first time, and all times since (Scandinavia).

I’m in NY and Coinbase doesn’t support it yet… Coinbase wallet sucks!!!!! The gas fees to convert are stupid high… I started on Kucoin which after getting accustomed too I like it better… I bought XLM on regular Coinbase sent it to Kucoin sold the XLM for usdt and bought Shib

I got the same issue, all my coins stored in cbw are stuck with the same value for weeks now But when I click on the coin, the correct value shows Anybody else got that issue and how u fixed it? Tia

So I finally fixed it. You just have to log out of the app and log back in. Before you do that SAVE YOUR RECOVERY PHRASE. If you don't you will be locked out forever. But once I logged back in, everything is back to normal

If you holding SHIB avoid depositing in Coinbase wallet unless you already have eth deposited in it enough for you to sell or transfer. As of the moment I am not able to deposit Ethereum into it from any of my other wallets.
