But I really hate when customers go to Stripes, park in a gas station pump, then go into the store for tacos and just have the car sitting at the pump while there are 15+ in line to order a taco. With no intention to even pump gas. So now people who want to come in to actually have to pump gas are circling around waiting for people to leave. Sorry not sorry just had to vent somewhere.

In the older days, while the Valley had it's share of awful drivers, it certainly was never this bad.
Do you guys think that Valley drivers are the worst type of driver? Or, for those who been around in other places, are there worse??

I know there's a lot of drivers in the Valley from Mexico who drive like crap but i believe most of the law breakers, speeders are the Valley drivers from all my years.

I don't keep up with the news that much but saw somewhere that northern lights would be visible in the U.S. I know they saw them up in Maine. Does anyone know if we will be seeing them down here?

I was speaking with the RGV Humane Society and something that they always need that I wasn't aware of was newspapers and old towels/blankets. There's the obvious donations like food, litter, and treats you can bring. But I thought if anyone had some old blankets you might normally throw out or old newspapers feel free to drop them by the shelters. Goes for all of the locations in the valley!

If anyone has any good ideal for where to buy a lot of blankets and towels cheap I also wanted to ping that as well.

I really need a cheap car to buy here in the valley. Car got repo’d back in December. Been struggling since I moved here. I’m not making the $$ I use to. I only came here for my daughter’s well being.But I’m out here in Elsa and have been having to walk for over 5 months and between the heat, creepy men trying to pick me up and feral dogs about attacking me I can’t do this walking ish anymore! Did someone watch breaking and and decide to pull a walter white? Why the fuck are there so many car washes but they don't even turn the water on for the sprinklers in the parks? I swear to god there's at least 20 different car washes back to back on N 10th and that new one just opened on Nolana.

It’s hot as hell and only going to get hotter as summer approaches. I work at a vets office and heat stroke is no joke for your fur babies. Please be a decent human being and keep those who can’t fend for themselves safe and cool. If you can’t bring them inside please consider getting them groomed with a deshedding treatment or haircut and provide them with plenty shade and water sources.
