Does anyone know of someone named after Presidents? Friends, relatives, celebrities, etc. Mind, I'm not looking for people who share the same name as a President, but people that were specifically named after one.
For my part, I'll offer a two-fer. Garfield Arthur "Gar" Wood was born in 1880 and named after then President and Vice President-elect James Garfield and Chester A. Arthur. Additionally, Gar was a pioneer in speedboat racing and worked closely with another famously named individual, Christopher Columbus Smith.
