Trunks can use Ki blasts from Afar and fly, he wins this.

If saber has avalon it is GG because nobody there could kill her.

If not, It she still has great advantage because her Instict skill is comparable to low-level future prediction in combat.

But I actually think Kojiro could win this.

Edit: turns out Trunks and Ichigo can fly and that is broken because their movility is on another level. So it is either Saber or one of them

Hax isn't stats so Saber negs, if abilities also aren't allowed then probably Sasaki or Yoriichi

If the other people didn't have their abilities I would say sasaki because he technically doesn't have a ability he is just good at predicting and reading people's movements but since there are abilities gotta say saber

Does Saber have Avalon or nah? If she gets it, she's literally intangible. Even without, Excalibur/mana bursts give her a ranged option, her instinct skill is basically precognition, her luck stat literally let her survive a guaranteed kill move, and her swordplay is still pretty top tier.

You mean they all scale down to the weakest or up to the strongest? If scaled down I think Battousai takes it. Scaled up I say Trunks because of his ki blasts, flight and experience against enemies stronger than him.

I don't know why ichigo is put in to these swordsman lists. His sword is an over glorified wand.

It's hard to say because stats is a thing, skills and abilities are another. I think you must be more specific on rules. Because if stats are equal, Guts got a cannon as weapon in his arm. Now that cannon, with equalized stats, could harm Trunks? Pretty sure a hand cannon does nothing to a Canonically-accurate Trunks. Some of them are just very skilled swordsmen. Honestly I think some of the characters listed above are out of the contest due to their abilities that with "swords" have literally nothing to do.

Guts slams imo.

Guts because the rest of them are being brought down to his level and he’s got the most experience at that strength and he’s most used to punching up vs most of them punch weaker or roughly equal opponents

Saber because Avalon is bullshit

Stats equalized, Guts is that guy. Dude is always fighting uphill battles.

In skill, it’s Yoriichi or Kenshin since they have raw skill beyond everyone in their time (or world in Yoriichi’s case).

Without Avalon and everyone has their abilities, Trunks or Ichigo due to flying and projectiles.

Saber or sasaki (post Poseidon)

Saber has her Avalon bullshit and even with equalized stats EX caliber would probably still exceed the equalized stats

Even with equalized stats post Poseidon sasaki should still be a menace with his scan

Saber can force a stalemate. Ichigo and trunks can fucking fly and shoot out projectiles. So a toss up between these 3.

Skillwise kenshin is the most skilled out these swordsmen, bro just fights with a reverse blade his entire series and still beats all his enemies, a bloodlusted kenshin was overkill even in his own series.

Hexwise ichigo gets so much hexes being a mixed

Trunks is from dB which in itself outscales many powerlevels from other series but since stats equalized with no haxes but pure swordplay I'll bet on kenshin.

So I'm thinking for swordsmanship Kenshin=kojiro>yorichi>saber(saber I'm doubtful as well cuz Excalibur carries her hard) >atomic samurai(I'm doubtful of this guy does his atomic powers come from his powers or skills idk) >mihawk(we nvr see his skills that much)>trunks>ichigo>guts

Kenshin makes the others look like novices.

It's between Mihawk, Yoriichi, Kojiro, and Guts. Ichigo doesn't have a ton of experience. Trunks isn't that good of a swordsman. Atomic Samurai and Saber are hard to scale based on how skilled they are. Kenshiro is probably the fastest if we equalize stats but doesn't have the raw abilities of the other four.

I really think it's going to come down between Kojiro and Guts. Kojiro has had hundreds of years honing his craft and Guts has survived hell and fights to the death daily since he has been a kid. I think Guts has it honestly. Extremely skilled but I think it's the constant life or death experiences and will power that edge him out as the victor.

So I've seen a few "equal stats" posts recently. Are these supposed to be a technique vs technique type post instead of being about power level?

Aside from Saber since idk what she does, Ichigo low diffs this just with his regen alone(regrowing entire limbs and organs instantly). Consideirng he at worst close in skill to most of them + his other abilites make it near impossible for him to lose.

Kojiro from ROR, if he's given enough time, can low diff with equalised stats, but realistically, I see Saber, Trunks or Ichigo winning. The ability to nuke the battlefield with an NP, Ki or Getsuga spam would be super hard to beat.

If transformation boosts their stats, then Ichigo or Trunks no diff, I'm guessing they're all starting in their strongest forms with equal stats.

I was wondering if Guts is just completely gimped in this, since he has no hax or special abilities. Him being superhumanly strong is kinda his whole thing, so is he still stronger than other people here or is he just a normal dude? Kinda the same thing with Atomic Samurai since he's just fast and good with a sword. Mihawk too, although I guess he has haki.

If these guys fighting threatens Earth itself, Excalibur will finish them off (considering stats equalized, typical sealed Excalibur will be Planetary already, and unsealed will be even more powerful several times)

Guts also wins because if everyone is brought down to his level even if they have some crazy ability I highly doubt it’s going to last as long as it should because they are no longer at some crazy superhuman levels of power their skills are going to drain them a lot, something that they aren’t going to be as used to, making them easy pickings.

i don’t know how much bearing it has, but who are the stats equalized to? like, is guts’s strength enough for trunks to lift the z-sword?

If equalized to human level, Guts because he’s the only one that wears heavy armor. If equalized to Trunks level, still Guts because he’s Guts

We still don't know much about Mihawk's power, but if he has future sight (which seems pretty likely) and all other forms of haki + being supposedly being the greatest in a huge world at swinging a sword, he could very much have it. + I guess slashing from a distance is also an ability he has I guess.

Well trunks with equalized stats still can turn ssj 2rage( as strong as goku blue) and he also has a time machine And ichigo can also go bankai×hollow They can power up rhe most from base so it woul be: Trunks Ichigo The others

If saber has Avalon she takes it other wise Kojiro.

Saber is actually unkillable (Avalon) and has a powerful as hell sword slash. Plus is tremendously skilled.

Trunks and Ichigo can fly, that's a lot right there. Plus both have ranged attacks, though I think Trunks is less skilled than most with a sword (hence him stopping its use quickly).

Unless I am mistaken, Trunks is the only one here that can blow up the planet with relative ease.

I'm ngl, Trunks probably takes it. He can just fly into orbit and even if he's equalized, rain down Ki blasts all over the entire planet. No one else here can really reach him from that kind of distance.

We'd need more ground rules here then just stats equalized Abilities like trunks saiyan abilities like the teleportation of ki blasts shit like that If they are at their absolute strongest in terms of their ability I'd give this to Guts once the Berserker armor activates

Kenshin is definitely the most skilled But this post has only stats equalized so I say saber cause she's the most haxed out If we were to put in endurance it'll be Ichigo, blud has crazy stamina
