I’ve read a lot of the comments and I don’t see much regarding how OP would like to handle it. A second job would produce more income, but what if she doesn’t want a second job?
OP - I’ve never consolidated debt before, but it doesn’t hurt to ask! Call the bank, let them know your situation and see if they will sit down with you to discuss options. The more you try the more you with learn. Knowledge is the way to be confident in the financial decisions you make.
We need to do some math. What is the current interest rate on each debt? We can map out payments using $400/month and see how long it’ll take.
I get being aggressive and saving/earning as much money as possible to crush that debt! But that is also going to be really hard. I worked really hard and saved lots of money when I was 22, but I also cried a LOT! Lol Was it good for me? Did I learn anything? Sure! But I wish I had someone or something to help me maintain my mental health a little better at the time.
Sometimes including a happiness factor might be a good idea!
Reddit likes to handle everything with extremes. Some don't understand that making 5$ isn't worth it if you end up burning out.
The only thing that can really help when you feel overwhelmed by a situation is consulting a trained professional in whatever you're dealing with.
No one's breaking their leg and going to Reddit to ask how to make a bandage, why are people doing it with things like their finance or mental health?
Getting a second job isn't a magic fix all, OP needs to deal with her spending habits as well. I'm sure that "200" she can save biweekly could easily become 400 if she controls her spending habits and lives a more frugal lifestyle for the next few months.
