Mine has always been the 1996 version directed by Franco Zeffirelli. I don't know why but he builts an excellent atmosphere throughout the movie, Charlotte is by far my favourite Jane and William hurt's acting in this role feels more realistic and humane than any other version. Second, would be the 2011 version even though I think the actors are miscasted in these roles, I appreciate the cinematography a lot.
