I know it's been a couple of weeks since the birth certificate and naturalisation certificate crazes, but I just collected my Polish birth certificate today from the Civil Registry Office. I am not a Polish citizen yet, but before you apply for citizenship you need to get your original birth certificate translated and entered into the Polish Birth Registry. I'm still a couple of years away from applying for Polish citizenship, but I thought I'd get ahead of the game. ๐๐ต๐ฑ
I'd be interested to know if any other countries allow you to enter foreign civil registration documents into their own registers.
So all immigrants who wish to get polish citizenship in the future must get a polish birth certificate?
