Sorry for the wrong term, guys! I was pertaining to counterfeit books! 🫶 Reprints are original new copies from publishers pala, thank you for correcting me 😽
The difference is pinagkakakitaan yung reprints unless nagbebenta ng pirated e-books din.
I don't like it.
- See-through pages.
I'd rather have a second-hand book, mas mabango pa 😆
I was about to say na mabuti pang second-hand 👋🏻😭
I dont support this😛😅
I'd rather read on Kindle or an e-Pub reader, tbh palagi lang akong nadidisappoint sa reprints. Sayang din sa pera and tambak lang after reading.
Reprints are okay since galing sila talaga sa publisher at original siya (baka may laiit na iniba lang na maliit like errors or to make more since may set number lang sila na prinoduce). Counterfeit books are different. They are downloaded ebooks that sellers, who are not the original publishers, to get profit. There's a difference. Correction lang ha, since mali yung term na ginamit mo. I prefer not to buy counterfeit books since I prefer the originals. But I am not going to judge people who buy them because it's not my money.
Thanks for that input! I meant the counterfeit books nga 🫶
I'd rather pirate the ebook online personally, since buying reprints supports the business of reprinting.
kapag problematic yung author like Colleen Hoover, Sarah J. Maas, etc okay lang lol
SJM is problematic?
not worth it. If you'll 🏴☠️ then just buy a cheap second hand ereader and download away.
Do you mean counterfeit books or reprints from actual legit publishers? Because those are two different things and people kind of mix them up. Better to buy secondhand instead of counterfeit because quality is still there. As for legit reprints, some really do have a different feel to it and it depends on the publisher (ex. India copies).
Yeah, I was pertaining to counterfeit books.
i actually bought reprints because the orig books are too expensive and i wanted to collect books. so far so good naman, its readable pero yung printing sa cover its meh
as a newbie reader, i can relate to this. easy to find din kasi mga reprints and di kana maghahanap pa kung sansan(if bibili 2nd hand) para basahin yung want mo. para din kasi mapahinga mata sa screen kaya mas okay na physical book.
paiba-iba ng font size and spacing sa letters. 4/10 would not recommend.
I bought one before not knowing it's a reprint. May mga sentences na kailangan mo basahin multiple times bago maintindihan since ang daming maling words and grammar. Chapter 1 palang sinukuan ko na.
That was the time I learned what reprints are. Never again talaga.
I don’t support reprint copies
Hindi ako nag eenjoy magbasa pag seethrough yung pages, eh. iba pa rin yung ganda amd contentment pag orig copy.
I would rather get a secondhand
Pinaka nakakadismaya talaga yung pagmasee through. 2nd hand na lang atleast less carbon footprint.
Reprints are different from counterfeit books. Reprints are original copies.
Would rather buy 2nd hand books.
It's a NO for me. Quality is poor and it is not fair to the publishers and authors.
Reprints as in yung pirated? Nah. For sure hindi naman nila binili yung ebook niyan bago iprint, nakuha lang din for free.
Most of the sellers din ng counterfeit books ay hindi naman bookworm. Pinagsasamantalahan lang kahinaan ng bookworms.
Sorry for the use of the wrong term, guys! I meant counterfeit books pala not reprints (original copies from publishers) Thanks for correcting 🫶🫶🫶
patawid na sa parchment paper yung hitsura. pwede sa mga nagtitipid or mga hindi maalaga sa books (like me).
I don't patronize them and avoid sellers who sell counterfeit copies.
I wont act holier than thou and say that I am against all types of piracy, but i hate this type the most because one, it sets a bad experience to those who doesnt know much about reading and unfortunately fell for their bad quality products, and also, theyre the ones earning when a book is purchased and not the rightful owners. Better to just buy secondhand or read on my kindle than line their pockets
Bwiset gumagawa nyan. Wala naman ganyan noon. 😡🤬 These products should be reported.
Kaya pala... I was selling a children's book that I bought second hand from Amazon. This lady inquired and said, "Bakit po yung sa shopee 300 lang brand new pa?" I had no idea. Sabi ko nalang, kayo po bahala. She ended up buying from me. 😆
not worth the money
Amoy gas 🤢
For me, nothing much as long as no chances in the story/wording
Piracy by downloading them off of free sites is one thing. Buying from fake publishers that reprint them (probably the same copies we downloaded from the sites) is another.
Better to buy secondhand books na lang
