Polish, lacquer, & varnish galore!

I do a base coat, two coats of paint, and a clear top coat. None of the products are old. My colors are always Essie. Why do they all chip so easily? Is it because my top coat is on the cheaper side? Help!

Looking for some help because I'm not bery knowledgeable on nails. I [M20] am thinking of buying a birthday present for my friend [M22] and I want to get him some good quality nail paint/polish.

Problem, his mom is 100% not gonna be happy if she ever catches him with it on, it's just that kinda of household. He always seems super bummed that he can't paint his nails so I'm hoping for reccomendations that will look good, but can be removed quickly i.e by washing in a sink and not like, a kids brand. Anything black is what I'm looking for and I wanna budget it at no more than ~€40

I really want to buy a black polish. I have a different gel couture polish already, and I love it, it stays on my nails for at least 2 weeks without chipping. So, I'd love to get the like it loud one, but I'm wondering what people think about it, since most people talk about the licorice one.

I've been looking for a nail color that looks like dark red blood and having such a hard time finding one. Many are either too pink or too creamy brown. The closest l've found is to what I want is Essie Skirting the Issue and that's out of stock everywhere. I think a jelly polish would work too.

Any recommendations?

He likes the way it looks on him but it makes his fingertips feel like they are sweating all the time and gives him some anxiety. Does anyone know why this might be happening or has it happened to them? Anything helps. Thanks 🙏

Hi all, i bought this nail polish probably 10 years ago at Five Below. Its Funky Fingers #5253 Sand & Stilettos. I guess they don't make it anymore but anyone know a good replica that is just like it? I absolutely love the glitter and how it looks. TIA

Basically the title, but I’m (24F) looking for a preferably cheapish matcha green nail polish. No turquoise or super dull green colors, please. There should definitely not be a bluish undertone. I love OPI, but haven’t been able to find a lot of green shades from them.

Also, in your guys opinions, what other colors give you that cool girl next door vibe? I’m not great at doing tons of designs and charms (but I do love those), but what colors strike you as super trendy and cool?

whenever I apply my nail polish it just peels off. even after drying, buffing and pushing back cuticles. base coats don't help either. when using the same Polish on fake nails there is no issue at all. what could be the problem?

I use all essence polishes.
