Get some rappers to record some tracks, market it right, get some traffic, and then people will be asking who produced the beat and want to hire you for their track.
Thx. And with just those unofficial remixes you see no chance?
Im also picky. I don’t know where to find good rappers and get in contact. Most rappers just suck.
Unofficial remixes are a dime a dozen. Make a great, unique piece of art, market it right, and that will be far more effective. Lots of great aspiring rappers out there, gotta do your due diligence.
I didn’t find one. And when I do they have 15 k + followers and don’t even read when I write them
I know. That’s why now is the time to start networking and building clout. Give people a reason to take you seriously, a reason to work with you.
What would be such a reason? My beats are fire, that should be the reason
Well one good way is to build up a following on social media. That’s not easy. If you can pull that off, it shows you are hustling and executing innovative ideas. Oops, but I think you said you don’t want to do social media. So never mind.
I do social media, but I only post one or two times a week and started half a year ago. I get about 40-50 likes on average and engagement sucks. I just don’t want to do this asking forced question thing to get engagement. It just feels wrong.
To the unofficial remixes. They are masterpieces, really.
