Yeah science, bitch!
As a devout believer it is uncanny how those little hints always hint towards my exact beliefs. I'm basically always correct as to what the lord is hinting at š
They not think, they know, it is simple using it as message for the dumb masses, just like in medieval times. Abusing power and making the crowd fear of the unknown. Those people are not dumb, they are pure evil wanting dumb sheep to follow and reign over so they feel empowered.
Religion not changed much in history at all, it is funny how they claim to be the only true religion, like many others too of course, but in the end are all copy and paste of another like let's say Maya times with the Sun.
"Watch this I- No Baal, bro, put the bong down you're gonna like this. I'ma fuck with 'em. Well yeah just using the natural laws of their universe! That's why it's funny!"
I like how you think the devout would believe that
This guy thinks climate change is a hoax, so...
Which is interesting because climate change is currently responsible for intense flooding and rising sea levels from the Gulf Coast to the the Carolinas. Hmmm. Trying to wash away the red states?
Oh.. their God is just trying to wash the puke off of new Orleans.Ā
Impossible, that shit is cooked into Bourbon Street's pavement
Lol
Almost as if the street is named after what's IN the puke, too.
How ironic.
If he's in Prager U then there is no science class.
I seriously believe all these zealots have such a huge narcissistic complex to the point everything is a sign to them.
Exactly right. You can stare at amazement at a natural phenomenon, because awe is a great feeling. Maybe even awe is a gift. But a refusal to try and understand simply for the sake of awe is to forsake the other gifts, like curiosity and learning.
Iām willing to believe that the specific nature of the size and distance of our moon, which allows us to see the corona during an eclipse; is perhaps a sign or a gift of some sort, from God. But so too is our ability to understand the motion of these bodies. And itās not right to pretend we canāt predict it down to the second.
Did Michael Steele really say this?
He seems to be getting pretty spicy with maga Republicans. It's almost as if he's not welcome in the party he used to be chairman of...
Iām not sure if he was always nevertrump, but he has been for some time. A Bulwark/Dispatch type.
But heāll still be voting for Trump come Novemberā¦
I was watching some artistic human flagillation video, one scene a sphincter clenched a few times. I now worship the devil.
Iām replaying fallout 3 and thereās a side quest where you need to go to a place with a tree. When you get there, itās discovered that the tree has actually sprouted out of a dude after an expedition and radiation. The tree has followers who treat him like a god. Interpreting his words. The tree god has only asked for one thing. To fucking die.
All the dipshits are interpreting his words and heās literally saying ājust kill me. I have a tree growing through me and it sucks.ā
I feel like this is all religions. The bible literally says ālove thy neighbourā and yet zealots are the most hateful bunch Iāve ever met. They āloveā only what they deem as worth of their love.
I think Bill and Ted would make a pretty good religion. āBe excellent to each otherā.
Never thought I'd see Michael Steel say something like this.
As long as itās not in a Prager U school.
I wonder what God is going to he hinting at during the next eclipse in a year? Or the next 1000 eclipses we are able to predict right now?
What did Houston do to piss god off this time?
And this from a former head of the Republican National Committee. Never thought I'd be backing Michael Steele in a debate but how times change.
Did he say stience?
I am an avid lover of Science, so much so that it pains me to acknowledge the Reproducibility Crisis. More than half (Between 58% and 65% in some fields) of Scientific research and data **THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PUBLISHED** cannot be reproduced.
Reproducibility is the keystone of the Scientific Method...without it...whatever you're proposing isn't Science.
So just keep that in mind when you go preaching Scientific data, research, or theory. Your alleged foundation in Science may not even be peer reviewed and it might because it can't be reproduced.
It's a sad time for Science.
I don't like that Michael fucking Steele is out here making me chuckle at his dunks on buffoons, but the chuckles are here nonetheless.
Just a reminder that Dennis Prager is a fundamentalist brainlet.
I laugh at how believers think every little thing is for them personally. And esp a run of the mill cosmic event that is very easy to explain, well, it's easy to explain to people who aren't hostile to knowledge at least.
Oh Michael! Itās ādumb assā not ādumbassā in this context. Thereās no murder when your gun shoots you in the face. A for effort, but F- for execution.
They edited in text...
Can anyone read what it says? Or am I just blind...
I like how the devout think that little hints are the way that an a entity, far more powerful than us mere mortals, would choose to communicate with his followers.
