Minoxidil Beards Spot

Want to rock a goatee until my velus hairs mature but I’m scared they won’t grow back if I shave, should I just trim extremely low or am I worrying over nothing?

If I don't use minox for a week,Will i have to start again?

Does anyone have more hair on one side of their face? My right side seems to be more full and am hoping the left side fills up as well. Also how do I straighten out my beard and stop it from being curly. Do I get one of those small combs?

I'm an average guy M 28 with not much great genetics. My moustache and chin has full beard but not on cheeks and sides. It has been this way for 6-7 years where I got no progress. I knew about minoxidil but avoided it because I wasn't sure it'll work for me ( cheeks doesn't even had baby hairs) but then I thought of trying it without any expectations and it's been about 3 weeks into my journey and recently I saw baby hairs popping out on my cheeks and sides. I'm convinced it'll work for me and I just need to be consistent. I didn't post any pictures as I think result isn't as significant to post but I will post before and after pics next month. Boys don't lose hope, go for it. Didn't notice any side effects as such. It'll take time, money but it'll worth it.
