Recently I ve seen a YouTube shorts about the American M320 grenade launcher.
In the video, the narrator mentions this is a "Day/night optical system for the grenade launcher".
I tried searching up this specific optic system, because I am interested in finding out how it works (specifically the night feature), but I couldn't find anything. Also in the video it didn't mention any name related to this sight system, it just said it is a day night sight.
If anyone knows how this sight works, especially the night-vision feature, I would appreciate it if you could explain it's mechanics.

Basically an optical sight with a built in FCS that uses a ballistics calculator to tell you where to aim the launcher based on target distance, ammunition type, environmental conditions, etc. Has a built in IR Laser/Illuminator for active aiming through NVGs, or presumably you can also just aim passively through the optical sight using NVGs like you can with any other RDS/HWS. So it's not a dedicated Night Vision scope, but a RDS/Laser combo that you can use in conjunction with NVGs just like an Aimpoint/PEQ combo on an issued rifle.
