Hi,
I decided to stay in the Reforma area for my upcoming trip because of the location. I am thinking of either staying in the Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel or Hotel Galería Plaza Reforma. Is one better than the other? Any other options?
I stayed at the Galeria Plaza Reforma and liked it but was considering the Sheraton if I stayed in that area again
Both are nice and convenient - I’ve stayed at both, Galería was usually a little cheaper so I stayed there more. Can’t really go wrong with either
Galeria Plaza reforma. You can have breakfast at Niddo which is just around the corner of Hamburgo with Oxford st.

Sheraton can be busy/challanging depending on vip visitors to the embassy. Going budget the Sevilla palace is great as is the le meridian
Step back a block or two from Reforma and consider either Hotel Maria Cristina or Hotel Bristol near the Monument of Independence ... on Calle's Lerma and Panuco, respectively. Good properties. Well-priced. Relatively safe / convenient. Close to whatever it is you'll need to do.
Those are extremely expensive options, the Holiday inn express reforma 222 is a better bang for your buck

It’s a holiday inn next to a mall, so yes
I looked it up it's like 110 a night USD . Ain't that expensive?
Hotel Galería Plaza Reforma is around $80
