I was assigned some history homework to write a paragraph about a event or a historical thing in the history of East Asia. I decided to do relations with Korea and Ming China before the Manchu (Jianzhou Jurchen) invasion and the Jurchen tribes in northern China/eastern Mongolia. I drew map (Sorry if its terrible) of north-east China. I just wanted to ask how accurate is the map i drew. It doesn't need to be very accurate, it just needs to show the different countries and people in north China.

I'm looking for area (sq miles or whatever) of the different districts on this map. Can anybody tell me what the long numbers mean?

I understand it is difficult to find and accurate depiction of old Empires since the concept of 'modern' borders were different/non existent.

My wife and I have collected a handful of different maps, some old, some new, some made with parchment paper, some with plastic coated paper, etc. Are there any good sources on framing maps? Should we avoid plastic or acrylic panes? Does a plastic frame corrode or degrade paper? Any tips would be appreciated :)
